disneyjoel
Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, and will be visiting PKI for my first time during the weekend of August 6 - 9. I'm also travelling solo, so my hope is that I'll find some friends on this site who might want to hook up inside the park. Company would make the line-waiting more bearable. I'll be staying across the street at the King's Island Resort and Conference Center, and plan to get a two-day pass for Saturday and Sunday (the 7th and the 8th of August). If anyone is interested in meeting me, reply to this post or else email me directly at bob_mackay@hotmail.com. Also, any advice on the best places to eat, in or near King's Island? BoddaH1994
Welcome to PKIC! I hope you enjoy your visit to PKI. For any information you may need, click on "park info" on the top bar. That'll supply you with general park info, as well as nearly 1000 pics of the park itself. If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask. Regards, Ryan PKIC staff

Reality15
Trust me, I was a PKI virgin until just recently, and now I absolutely can't wait till my next trip. And this site is the best place to go to get the info before your trip. By the way, best place to eat at the park: Bubba Gump
disneyjoel
Thanks for the nice welcome greetings! I did think of some questions, with regard to the Crocodile Dundee waterpark. From what I understand, it's included with PKI admission. Are there lockers to keep belongings, and if so, what are the locker rental fees? Since I'm staying across the street, I figured I could save money by changing clothes in my hotel room, but does PKI take kindly to people entering the front gate with only a bathing suit and a hotel towel? Also, does the waterpark area open at 10am with everything else, or does it keep its own hours? It seems more like a midday activity, I would think, for most people. If I wait until the afternoon on a Saturday or Sunday, is there a danger of all the lockers being taken? Finally, a more general park question: Does PKI offer early morning ride privileges, before it opens at 10am to the general public? I know some parks offer this to Season Pass holders, but some places - like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios - offer it to resort guests, as well. Since I'm staying at their resort hotel, I was wondering if I'd be able to take advantage of such a benefit. Thanks again, everyone! disneyjoel
And funny you should mention "Bubba Gump," Reality, because I just tried that place for my first time last week in New York City!
flightoffear1996
Okay the park doesn't open early uless you have a gold pass but that is only certain areas of the park. For the locker thing they are $10 at the water park but you get $5 at back when you return the key. ANother thing is you can get a locker at the front of the park (walk towards Action Zone) and you will find it. Those are 75 cents every time you go to open them.
