KIAlumnus
In years past, KI celebrated the 4th of July over 3 days (July 3, 4, 5). Now they are celebrating it only on July 3rd? Anyone know why that is?
KIfan73
I don't know, but I'm thinking about going.
tigellinus
Hey, whatever keeps the crowds down on Wednesday (when *I* am going!) works for me!!!
Guest kwindshawne
I bet...and this is just my thought...maybe they did that so everyone could rest up before returning to work the 5th. If I wasn't working, I would go....

The Interpreter
Note that at least some other Cedar Fair parks are celebrating the Fourth ON the Fourth. Carowinds comes immediately to mind.
BoddaH1994
They probably looked at attendance and the day before the 4th was the highest. For those of you who didn't read the other post, Kings Island will be celebrating the 4th of July one day early. July 3rd at 10pm Kings Island will have an expanded fireworks display. KIfan73
I wonder if it is to somehow compete with Red, White, and Boom...although, I don't really see how KI could compete...
