I guess the top just went over top of those two poles because I heard on the morning news that it was going to be installed from 9:00 to 12:00.

The news actually ran a story that the new sign was going up? Man, that thing IS a landmark!

On a side note, it's a little surreal that I'm staying online waiting for a picture of a sign. I never thought I was that addicted to KI, but I guess I am. I'm a logo freak and I'm ready to see what CF did. I think that signage throughout the park would reflect the main sign.

The sign was supposed to be constructed from 9-12, but the ODOT wouldn't allow such a huge object to be transported during rush hour, so they wouldn't let it leave Columbus until 9am. Construction started around noon and the top part was being welded around 3:00.

That's about what I expected. I guess the top "coaster hill" logo is here to stay. It seems to be a company wide thing. I never realized the thing I was talking about was an exclamation point.

Drat, drat and double drat! Ryan, you beat me to it! I don't get up there until 5:20 every day, but I'll probably just swing by and take my own pictures tonight anyway...

On one of the pictures i noticed that there were a few Coke machines in the parking lot... do you think KI is getting rid of them to get Pepsi machines? I really hope so.

Good eye emobeaver, those vending machines are typically under one of the huts there and stocked during the winter. Wonder why they were disconnected, moved, and facing the other way.

I acuttually liked the old one better (not because of paramount)because there was alot more themeing into it.Now its just going to be that ugly baje color.
