CedarPointer Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 As we all know, KI has posted "downtown" instead of "downtime" in regards to The Crypt. Now, this could just be a typo. But, I think it actually is a reference to Manhattan Express, which is at the New York New York Hotel and Casino, which is themed to a downtown. Obviously, KI is hinting that we will receive a rollercoaster similar to theirs- a TOGO standup as a replacement for King Cobra! Aren't ya'all glad I'm so smart? It may have been the inadvertent use of the wrong word, but it was not a typo...Besides, typos stem from misapplication of the fingers...and downtime and downtown are not that similar in keyboarding or typing... Well, considering it was the same quote, only one quote had a single sentence stating the fact, and the other quote had two sentences, it was probably a mistake the first time, and just an accident the second time. But being that it is in 2 different places, 2 different times, worded 2 different ways, it does seem a little fishy. Maybe reading too much into it but it does make you wonder. If the mistake was missed the first time, or it was a spellcheck mistake the first time, and it was copied for the second one, then it was an easy accident the second time. ^I agree. As for getting a TOGO Standup, it's probably not happening...since TOGO went out of business and I don't see one of them getting dis-assembled for movement.
