  1. Just be thankful you're not working ronnie. lol.
  2. I love the parade. When was the last time you saw a parade like this at Cedar Point? I think though the shows have been lacking at KI, the parade really helps to fill the void cause, people practically have to watch it no matter what. And what family doesnt like a good parade with happy people in bright colors.
  3. It is still the same as when it opened. The only difference is the themeing. Yea TRTR has never changed its actual ride program. Then only things that have changed are the effects on the ride. Also the show doesnt "not run properly." It runs the exact same as the day it opened. The only difference is some of the effects: lighting, fog, etc. has had minor changes.
  4. ^yea that was the base for the recreation^
  5. Also if we're going to get technical, since coaster's are summer versions of the russian ice slides, then the hill that I go slead riding down in the winter is also a coaster. And lets not forget about Perfect North Slopes, they have about 25 coasters there to ride. Or perhaps Scrappy Doo's slide/Flying Carpets at KI, I could add that to my track record. Or maybe the jungle gym slide at my old elementary school, thats a coaster isnt it. And what about that thing that you run at, jump and grab onto overhead and you slide along the rail. And speaking of rails, what about the hand rail at friday's that I slid down on my butt, isnt that a coaster too. I guess technically I've ridden about 1000 coasters. When I go down the elevator ill have to count that too.
  6. Personally I could see avatar being a coaster but I cannot se the Disko being a coaster. Because of this I dont count any of these zamperla rides to be coasters. In the last issue of ACE news there was article about survivor the ride at PGA and ACE interviewed a representative from Zamperla and according to that person, Zamperla does not consider their rides of this type to be actual roller coasters, just rides that coast on a track. ACE doesnt believe it to be a coaster because of the whole self propelled thing, and that counting one would mean counting all the intamin skate board things and all the disk-os. Personally I dont count it in my track record.
  7. OMFG. Thats not cool. They dont even technically own us yet. If they can change our signs now, then we should at least be able to get into their parks for free, LOL. Now you need to photoshop a Paramount and Cedar Fair pass.
  8. Awesome report man. Yea I made it to holiday world on the first tuesday they were open this year and it was awesome as always. The voyage, best wood coaster I've ever been on hands down. There was absolutely no line so we got to ride it 6 times without getting off.
  9. AND Taxi Jam The Train (White Christmas Express) Ice Skating rink (royal fountains) Grand Carosel Not to mention all the shows they did. Off hand there was scrooges house, santas toy factory, the light show over swan lake, the tree (Eiffel Tower) lighting ceremony, the christmas parade, and I think I'm still forgetting some. All of the stores on international street were converted into christmas shops with gifts and such and there were also many food places open with hot drinks etc. Also the Paramount Story wasnt the paramount story, it was the nickelodean characters christmas tree lot where you could meet and greet the characters.
  10. Gabe if you really want to see it I'll copy it for you.
  11. I'm not flaming you either, but seriously, can you think of a year since 1993 that ki spent more than 20 million on a single attraction? Not reciept wise but ballpark. The only thing that could come close is SOB but I'm pretty sure that wasnt 20 mil. Also I'm not saying its not possible but like combat said, if someone knows of something, I, along with everyone else want to know the source.
  12. Still KI has never spent 20million on a ride before so why start now, lol. There is still a LOT that can be done for under 20 million dollars.
  13. Now when Cedar Fair says "no new attractions over 20 million dollars" do they mean that in all of their parks they are not going to spend more than 20 million dollars total, or that no single park will get an attraction more than 20 million dollars? Cause if that is so, seriously, when was the last time KI spent more than 17 million dollars on one attraction? I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure KI has never spent 20million dollars on an attraction before unless you count all of the extra money spent on SOB.
  14. As of yesterday the Voyage is by far the most incredible wood roller coaster I have ever experienced. The ride is amazing, it never lets up. The ride is absolutely covered with air time no matter what seat you're in. We got to ride it 6 times in a row without getting off and LOVED it every single time. If KI had a wood coaster that was even half as good as the Voyage, it would definately still be a world class coaster.
  15. ^I agree. I dont care what anyone says, there is no Coke product or any other companies product that can rival Mountain Dew. That alone is enough to bring Pepsi to KI for me.
  16. And then what are they going to do with all the people that already bought tickets for 9.99 this year as advertised in the map. Winterfest will stay.
  17. Actually the launch is the same as it always has been.
  18. Yes I did say unfortunately, I dont know about you but I think it would be cool to see the park in 1972. I guarentee as soon as it does come out, I'm going to add that DVD to my parents mail-order-blockbuster subscription and copy it. Why? Did you think I actually wanted to watch the show for the plot and content??? lol
  19. The statue inside of the ride area is indeed Durga, not shiva. The most clear way to tell is because, well, Durga is a female and Shiva is a male and there is no doubt that the statue inside portrays a female. Infact Durga is a wife of Shiva. Shiva: Info on Shiva Durga: Info on Durga Then in preshow, our giant gold friend is a Brahma Brahma: Info on Brahma
  20. No, it certainly wasn't the camera. That is just one of the [many] effects on the ride that should be working but doesn't. Even if the general public is unaware these aspects of the experience are missing, I think they would be eve more impressed if everything was working the way it is supposed to. There is ultraviolet paint on the wall in front that would react when the light changed and the black lights were shined on it. That paint has since faded significantly.
  21. The Partridge Family Episode is called, "I Left My Heart in Cincinnati," and is in the third season, episode #66. Unfortunately, The Partridge Family season 3 is not yet out on DVD.
  22. For the record, that area gets cleaned every single day. Obviously the gum and coins cant be picked up every night, but any trash down there is from that day and that day only.
  23. I have this episode on dvd, I copied it from my friend.
