Great pics Shag. I think it's kind of interesting that they're using a mix of character models (Like the organ shaggy) and flat models (Daphne). It looks like it's coming along quite nicely. ~Shadow~

Most likely I'll hit all the new rides. After that I'll hit The Beast duo. That's my plan.... ~Shadow~

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're in that hidden room behind the Goddess thing. In the main room. I have seen it. The rest of you now have a good idea, you just have to know where to look. ~Shadow~

Look for me at the Rock Shop/Fudge on opening day. If I get supe before then, I'll tell you where I'm at when I get it. ~Shadow~

I'd have to agree about Face/Off, it is sweet. Aside from that I would probably ride The Beast and SOB. They're always just a blast to ride. ~Shadow~

Hmm. I'll have to look out for that when I go and process my info. I know for sure that it won't be this weekend, but it will be soon. I think it's great that they're taking care of all this. It shows they care. ~Shadow~

I wouldn't doubt it. I'll keep an eye out when I come back. The whole running scene in Forrest was just classic. ~Shadow~

I've never really had a really bad expericence with guests, just really annoying ones. Being one of the line associates on the Rock/Fudge crew in mechandise, I've seen my fair share of annoyances. One of my worst peeves about the guests was the bulk candy in Fudge. Hands down. I never said anything about it, but it got on my nerves immensely. If i remember right it annoyed some of the other crew members as well. Here goes: Fudge has the largest selection of bulk candy in the park. And kids being kids love candy. The older kids that were able to watch their money would grab a bag, fill it full of candy, and expect it to be cheap. Some would go back and take candy out of their bag and keep going back and forth until they had something they could pay for. For some this was a process of 15 minutes or more. Little kids were a lot worse. Beleive me, I have seen my fair share of tantrums over the candy. Kids were kicking and screaming because they couldn't get it. It would happen quite frequently actually. There's my 2 cents. ~Shadow~

The Beast Duo gets my vote. The Beast for being an all around great coaster, SOB for being fun to ride. As for SOB having wood in the loop, I have never seen that when I rode it. That'll be something I'll have to look out for next time I ride. ~Shadow~

Crap, is it just me, or have they just started with closing @ midnight? I've never seen this in the past..... Oh well. ~Shadow~

The concept of the ride is pretty interesting. I might go check it out to see how it is. ~Shadow~

Consider me one of the short ones. I'm 5'8" and i'm also cramped when I get in the SOB car. They should really do something about those cars. ~Shadow~

Those are some sweet shots. I have never seen PKI covered in snow. I like it. ~Shadow~

OK, this one is quite freaky. I was passing through AZ just for fun, and i happenened to have my eyes gravitate towards Drop Zone and there was a bunch of people clamored in the line of fire of DZ. There were no drivers at all in the area, and they all were looking up as if it were sky. You can pretty much guess what happens next. Then i woke up. Creeps me out to this day. ~Shadow~

Prior to working there, I had been to PKI on a few occasions. Just like Aaron I was a bit scared of coasters. My first ride on The Beast was in 1992, right before it was turned over to Paramount. It was really shaky and I got knocked around a few times (i was only 8), but overall, i enjoyed myself. I think the one ride that really got me hooked was The Vortex. I was scared to death of it but once i rode it, i loved it. After 1998, visits to PKI were nonexisetent. Up until 2001. I had a g/f at the time and she wanted to go apply @ PKI. I had nothing against it so I went ahead and applied. She quit after a week (She worked in admissions, need i say more?), and i end up working for 2 seasons. LOL. But push came to shove and I ended up wandering around the park and riding all the rides when I had the free time. To this day I have rode all the major coasters in the park. SOB front car=Sweet. And there you go. ~Shadow~

PT was a good Dark Ride for what it was worth. I have to agree, it had that lure to for you to ride it. But 10 years is a good run, it had it's fun and it's gone. One thing I'm glad that they're keeping in Scooby is that spooky atmosphere that came with PT. Scooby should be interesting to check out..... ~Shadow~

No, usually you would give that second one to a freind. Merch lets you get location choice for that freind if you get them to fill it out and send it in. I don't know if the other departments will do that though.
-
Yeah really. It's pointless and it doesn't make much sense anyway....

Merch Payrates 15-5.50 (what's up with this?) 16+ First year - 6.00 .50 raise on this end as well for returners Merch Returners get an extra 10% On Associate Discounts as well. ~Shadow~

Actually i think there are quite a few Ex-PKI associates who post here (like me ). I got mine in the mail for merch. I might give it one more year, ONLY if they let me have an asst. sup position by the time full season rolls around. It's really all on how you feel about going back. I went back for a second season just for the heck of it and now i have a purpose and that purpose is the reason i want to go back. If it doesn't happen, then sayanora PKI. If you do decide to go back and change departments, choose wisely. You might not know what you're getting yourself into. ~Shadow~

Yeah i think they have a copy of that map in First Aid too.... ~Shadow~

Cool. Maybe They'll show some construction of Delirium. You never know....

Amen to that. Money is what makes the world go 'round, and what causes disputes, wars, and other crap.
