Ok here's how it goes if I remember it right: 1. You get shoved into a room and they check out your ID stuff (Make sure you have all of them) 2. PKIU assoicates introduce themselves and all that. 3. They show you all the other Paramount Park names. 4. Polices through a PowerPoint Presentation 5. The dreaded FISH video (thank god I don't remember it. ) 6. Then you get your ID if everything is in. After that, it's all departmental from there. Good luck. ~Shadow~

Yep, Real Firefighters was a pretty good arcade game. Leave it to Sega to make really neat arcade games. I'd love to see a Samba De Amigo machine though, I'd maraca the night away. ~Shadow~

As you know from my sig, I am a gamer. And I have had my fair share of visits to the PKI arcades (Mostly the Coney arcade, since it's really close to my work area.) I just want to know from all of you what you guys like to do when you're there and what you're all hoping for. One of the games that I frequent there is Dance Dance Revolution. I've played the 3rd Mix version for quite awhile. My hope is that they get a newer mix of DDR. I think the newest one is DDRMAX. So... thoughts? ~Shadow~

I'm a 3rd year rehire. I was rehired last saturday at PKIU. Gonna be at Rock/Fudge like last year. Hoping it'll go well. And I don't even remember the fish video. ~Shadow~

Job Fairs have always been at the Festhaus. It's the perfect place i guess. It's large and manageable. So that makes it the perfect candididate. Just my 2 cents. ~Shadow~

Did you ever go see Slime Time Live at the Nick Theater? Spongebob would walk on stage and start flapping his jaws. If you were a kid you would be scared silly i bet. ~Shadow~

Welcome to our fold! I'm not in rides either (Rock Shop Associate, good 'ol merch.) but make sure you try flexing that discount power of yours. I know I have. Just don't go overboard, or you won't have much of a paycheck. That's never good. ~Shadow~

Don't forget the associates. We have to work that day, you know. So pester me at Rock Shop or Fudge. I'll be the weird acting dude with puffyish hair. ~Shadow~

About that 3rd car.... i could of swore that there was a dissasembled SOB train over in the "graveyard" @ PKIU. The mind boggles. ~Shadow~

I think the best show's that Nick has had is definitely Salute Your Shorts and Pete and Pete..... Classic stuff.... ~Shadow~

Wouldn't having Subway in PKI change their drink company? Since Coke is their company, that might be a big change in drinks. Pepsi will strike.... ~Shadow~

I never really liked Smash Factory all that much. It felt kinda stupid. Spongebob 3D I could do without as well. But, oh well, it is a "family" park. They have to put some variety in their rides... This season's FX Ride just isn't smart this year IMO. ~Shadow~

Yeah, I remember Flight Commander. Just out of pure curiousity, was it taken down for safety reasons? I remember hearing something about that... ~Shadow~

We have had posters for those job fairs at our school as well. We even had advertisements on Channel One for the Job Fair (Which is now cancelled, that's in another thread...). ~Shadow~

There was. WaterWorks had people almost overflowing into the place. I could of swore there was a line a mile wide outside the Season Pass entrance.. ~Shadow~

If I remember right, that was the day we hit capacity and couldn't take anymore. People were parking in the grass outside the campground, plus the parking lot was filled to the brim. We even had guests park in the associate parking lot, the Sonoco Station, and even our babseball field! I was late for work, so I booked it on foot to Post 3, b/c there was a line that was huge..... (I wasn't driving BTW). It was a bad day for associates and guests, but it was a good day for revenue. Merch and food hit records that hot day. That day I thought I seen it all..... ~Shadow~

I can sort of get where you're coming from Sparky. Even though I'm a merch associate I have had a few days in rides (Beast/Gun and Vortex/Action Theater were my areas when I was sent.). Every ride is different in some way, so you always have to keep an eye out for whatever. Miscatches, bad seats, etc. So yes, there is more to it than barchecks and button pushing. ~Shadow~

If you did your app online, HR will probably have it already. Your best chance would be to go ahead and go to the job fair. Just go to where they're putting apps in (Probably the Festhaus), and ask if they have your app on file. If they do, they'll most likely interview you. And if they don't, grab an app and fill 'er out. They'll interview you after they look at it, there's a really good chance of it. Either way, you can't go wrong. ~Shadow~

In terms of wating, Congo Falls. It's always a walk on. As for thrill factor, I think they are about the same. ~Shadow~

So far I have worked 2 full seasons at PKI. All of them in merch. Right now i'm going into my 3rd season. And If I don't get my Asst Supe position by the end of Preseason, I might move to rides. Gotta make more cash somehow... ~Shadow~

Yeah, Graveyard shift was pretty neat. I'm not too big on coreography, but the overall presentation was good. I think I heard that they replaced "Patch" near the end of the show's cycle. Any clarification on that? ~Shadow~

I hope Weird Al hurries up and finishes his new album, so he can start touring for it. When he does go on tour, he usually stops there... ~Shadow~

Wonder what they'll be putting there.... You have any idea Shag? ~Shadow~

Ouch... makes me want to cringe in pain. I've had a few "flying out of coaster" dreams, but I can't remember them. Dang it... ~Shadow~

This is the only bad thing about PKI. The off season. But hey, I can wait. Plus I get to go in Friday any way for Asst. Supe interviews.... It's all good. ~Shadow~
