Wow this is about the only good thing coming from a crappy economy is cheap oil. Did you know right now it only takes $0.75 to make a gallon of gasoline.

Not only that but from watching the relocation of Firehawk and Dominator alot of extra ground work is required since the supports and such arent desgined for that area. So the the footers and things have to of different size and ground work must be close to the ground work of the pervious area. The only savings on moving a ride is a) ablity to upgrade to newer compontents to allow better relibilty, not having to pay for new steel and that is about it! There is also more labor involved so what are the parks really saving?

A season pass holder day is cool and all but I bet 3/4 to 1/2 of KI visitors are pass holders and the number may go up even more since the addition of Diamondback so how much will it really cut down on the line?

I got nailed in the eye with a cicada while on the rosters. I had kind of a crappy coaster year. Just got to KI about 20 times or so and Cedar Point about 4 times.

I havent been to the haunt yet. I planning on taking my sister and her fiance (or however you spell it) They are non pass holders and I want them to get the most of value for thier ticket. Do you think ti be better if we went on a Friday from 7-1 which is 6 hours. I want them to ride Firehawk and maybe the Crypt if its open because they don't no that it has changed plus 3 or 4 haunts. Would thier be enough time to do that on a Friday?

I saw them using the turnstyles on the Robbie Kneviel jump day.

When roll backs occur, it is not good for the computer system. Unless a ride op has figured out a loophole in the system, they can't cause a rollback on purpose unless they somehow close the brakes through the launch area while the train is traveling through it. But 99.9% of the time, it is random. You are wrong thier buddy. While I am not sure if the ride ops can tkae control of the ride from the operation pannel they certainly can and do controll the speed of the motor. When they replace the cable or when the hyrolic motor is 1st installed they do not launch it at full speed. They slowly break in the motor and or cable.

I can gurantee you there is no kind of "slam into the hydraulics making a loud crash" from any drop height. Let alone 10-15 feet. Can you?!??!?! That is why I saw it with my own two eyes along with other people in the group that were standing there.

I have been on both and ejoyed King Cobra more. I am 6 foot 3 and 225 pounds and the Mantis is just uncoftable for me and casues muscle pain in my legs for an 30 minutes or so after I ride it. King Cobra was less force full and for a stand up thats a good thing.

I been on four TTD roll backs. Just go early in the year early in the day a roll back is almost for sure. I have rolled back on Maverick once but no way as much fun as TTD.

I think the drop will look much nicer. I hope on the other hand they theme the splash down area like in the video.

It was a few years ago. I think they had a 10 foot step ladder but I can't swear to it.
