Why did they even remove the inversion in the first place.

I feel perfectly safe on any ride without that extra seat belt. I mean I have been on rides thousands of times and not once or one person I know has the restraint open up on them. Weather or not The Vortex gets them it will still be a great ride.

Does anyone know if they are going to do a soft opening before Memorial Day?

The park even went to covering up the pay for zoom lenses on top of the Effiel Tower.

I was really wanting to go to that park but the high prices are keeping from going to the park.

Man Coasters I really hope your right. THere is a few days durning the week of Memorial Day that the park is open. I wonder if they are planning to do a soft opening in those days.

If the one side of the station breaks down the ride will continue to operate but with only one station.

I think Cedar Fair knows how much more room Kings Island has than Cedar Point and they should be expanding on that land unlike Paramount. Paramount did build new things but many times we had to see an old ride go. Even though Cedar Point is next to a huge lake. Maybe one reason it gets a lot more tourism than KI. However with a few new rides just may change all of that. I am just pondering on the fact that if Cedar Fair continues on expanding the way they are that pathway underneath The Racer will be very crowded unless something else is done. Also are they going to be changing the Flight of Fear sign that is over that pathway since its not the only thing back there anymore.

I have also noticed that Deja Vu has some steps on the boomer rang. What if Face/Off vallied there?

I have noticed that Face/Off has no steps on its lift hill. So what happens if there needs to be a walk down how do they get the riders off. ** Never mind I forgot that the ride can be lower manually.

Maybe that would be a pretty nice idea and speed the line up a little filling every seat on the train

The sand would be way to hard to keep clean with people littering.

Remove the Paramount mountain looking thing and put a effiel tower in its place. In speaking of ride times do you think Kings Island will see the signs with the wait time out in front like Cedar Point has?

I only went to the water park once or twice last year but there is still a great amount of walking around in your bare feet on concrete. A complete renovation of the park was needed. I good idea is to make the path ways a giant lazy river. Yea it would cost a lot but I would probably along with thousands of others enjoy the water park a lot more. One of the main reasons I don't go to the water park is because it just kills my feet.

You would think a ride relaying on a motor or pin to hold the cars in the correct postion would have a few backup devices just in case of a failure. I guess Borg didn't have that or they both failed. Cedar Fair got the parks and having to deal with the Son of Beast accident and now this.

That is ashame that something like that would happen but I am glad that the workers were all okay. I bet this will make them look at Firehawk a lot more before they open it.

Ryan that is were I think you are wrong. Cedar Fair isn't Six Flags and they truly now how to run a theme park empire. If Kings Island starts making more money than Cedar Point so what. Kings Island has a lot more room for them to expand than Cedar Point giving it a chance to outgrow Cedar Point. If Kings Island did in fact start to draw more out of towers I think Cedar Fair may just go with the flow and keep doing what they have been doing.
