Saw lots of wasp at the park yesterday. Specially bad on The Beast.

Seems silly to close the star attraction for some fireworks. Hopefully they move the launch pad or maybe just to a light show on IE street.

I wonder if they are going to move the 10:00pm fireworks?

I would like to see a dive coaster but something more than a drop and some drawn out inversions.

Out of the two rides this is the one that should be torn down

An actual good family launch coaster be perfect in the Adventure Express spot.

Park doesn’t need any bigger crowds for haunt.

It would be nice if and when something replaces it they at least keep the same kind of support style for the lift.

How cool would it be to turn one of the old cars into a go kart!

Doesn’t say the park will be removing the ride. It just says retiring. Might be SBNO for little while.

If they didn’t have plans for the area why not just limp it through for the next year or so? The Racer and The Beast are the only two left that I consider the core. Why not remove invertago the old Crypt building. I don’t buy the end of life span crap. Corkscrew at Cedar Point is much older and so rough it’s almost unrideable

Probably another soulless budget B&M generic dive coaster in the next few years. Vortex was always must ride for me when I visited the park. Usually I had to ride it by myself and I came to live everything about it. All her quirks. Old Tex will be missed dearly

Park claims end of service life? Yet Cedar Point gets to keep there older and crappy Corkscrew.

This is absolutely horrible. Worst move the park has made since Cedar Fair has owned the park. I really hope they plan a 2021 coaster in its spot but I highly doubt it. Horrible horrible way to start my Friday.

Vortex is almost as iconic as The Beast. It will be a sad day when that ride goes.

The great pumpkin fest was works better when it was in the water park. Why was it moved anyway?
