My favorite part of the ride was the first drop. Maybe my favorite element in all of Kings Island. I choose none because it's hard enough on me losing such an iconic ride.

I personally would go but since it's cold and rainy the kids and wife out voted me.

Is the park going to close for tonight?

We used to have season passes. I love this park. Wild Eagle is the best of the wing coasters.

A mine train would be awesome. The ride is such an eye sore but it really is a good little ride for those not ready for the bigger rides yet.

So I was on the way home from Thanksgiving dinner and during the drive I was thinking what Kings Island would overhaul Back Lot Stunt Coaster. Here are my thoughts below. New Name: Junkyard Coaster The park would add junkyard fencing (sheet metal privacy fence) all the way around the ride. Plant some climbing plants along the fencing to pretty the area up from the midway. Could even put a small family flat ride in in some of the areas. Now the theming for the ride they could go purchase a bunch of old cars and litter them throughout the ride area. Maybe throw in some of the old Vortex track in there as well. Thought number 2 Name: Around the Town The new theme would feature classic things you would see around Cincinnati. You could setup some fake Skyline buildings, LaRosas. and some Cincinnati Landmarks. You could retheme the trains to ride in cheese coneys!

Does Dollywood even need multiple resorts? I used to be a pass holder there and visited several times durning the year and always on a weekend and was able to ride all the rides without hardly waiting for any of them. The only ride I waited for was Lighting Racer.

I'll take the Lego coaster over that

I think I might have touched it once or came close to hitting one of the lights with the tip of my finger. I remember having my Hands up and grazing something with the tip of my finger. It hurt pretty bad. I figured engineers knew what they were doing and would have designed it out of arms reach. From that point on its hands down for me.

Why wouldn't it? You could use underneath the station. Not to mention there would also be plenty of land available in the current Vortex ride area. Could make for some really unique interactive moments. Only time will tell.

I just hope they are able to reuse the station. That station is one of my all time favorites! Anymore now that are just a rectangle with a roof over the top of it.

That Son of Beast model looks awesome! I am a huge Vortex fan but that model looks like poop to be honest.

I really wonder how much airtime that wave turn will provide? It seems like the entry and exit to the element isn't very steep.

They can part one of the cars to me. I had this dream of turning nine of the cars into a go kart for one of my kids.

Anyone showing off any new flat rides?

The spine on the gigas are a lot thicker so they can run the chain return inside of track.

I would love to see Adventure Express get upgraded theming. Would be awesome "off year" addition. Maybe enclose the 1st lift hill and theme the ride to an escapee from A haunted mine shaft.

My only complaint was that it was hard to see all the shows. A lot of the shows all started at the same time so you wait for one to end but then miss the start of the other

I understand taking the feed down. Moving pieces this heavy this high is always dangerous no matter how careful you are. Hate to have something happen on a live feed.

I haven't been since I was way younger. It on extremely hot days it was the place to go over Kings Island water park. Hardly any lines.

You could always make a trip to Cincinnati and they will make you uncooked ones you could freeze. Word of caution the LaRosas in the park taste completely different.

Somewhere I have the old Italian Job Stunt Track preview passes. I'll have to see if I can find a photo. Time really flies and I'm getting old.

Any updates as to the area they are working on next?

The bread at Dollywood is 100 times better. The bread at KI is good but the Dollywood bread has ruined it for me.
