  1. Yeah somebody posted this earlier and in the daytime it's more obvious that they're a rusty unfinished raw steel color. Probably what it looks like before they sand them down and paint. I do wonder where they're going. Could be for the Hershey hyper. Seems weird to make the track here and ship it overseas. I have NO idea what the timeline for a giga design and track manufacture looks like, so I don't know if they'd be pumping track out this early for a KI ride.
  2. Name it Railgun and have the station be a big sci fi cannon thing with a launched lift hill coming out of it. Have a big LED lighting package on the track that follows the train up to the peak. train gets launched at 60mph out of the station/cannon thing and coasts to the top of the hill where it crests the first drop at a sane speed Or just do a normal lift hill and name it alien idc I just wanna go fast
  3. Much like The Beast Unleashed video I made, I just really want to see the ride use that hill behind Firehawk to reach blistering speeds, if only for a short while. Based on the topography I imported into my project from Google, with a hill around 300 feet you could use the existing terrain behind it to do a Beast style run down that hill and reach insane speeds, and still keep costs low by hugging the ground. During the first iteration of my design, I took the track all the way down to the little Miami river. With a 380 foot drop, the thing was reaching 115mph near the river. It was lunacy. It's really the perfect opportunity to break the 100mph Giga speed barrier. You use the terrain to go insanely fast, and then climb back up the hill after a turnaround, which conveniently bleeds momentum back to a more reasonable 90ish mph once you reach station height again. Both of these things keep your budget from being insane and cut track length down a bit, without demanding an aggressive midcourse brake run or impractically huge airtime hills. I will be more than satisfied if it does two things: Breaks 350 feet for first drop, and then makes a run down the hill to go even faster. If it has those two things, I'll be grateful for whatever we get.
  4. Haha holy crap! Can’t believe they picked this up. Kinda flattered. John Matarese seems like a big coaster nut, and I love it. Really like seeing the depth he’s going into regarding KI coaster projects, and I can’t wait to see him report on the official announcement of whatever ends up coming. Been kinda shocked at the reception to the concept I made. Glad people like it and happy to see it making the rounds. Hoping KI realizes how badly they need a giga. I realize all future plans are probably pretty cemented by now and I’d feel kinda bad if it turns out to be a dive coaster and I whipped all the unwitting GP into a frenzy for nothing... He addressed that it was fan made in the article. yeah the title is clickbaity but that’s what gets the views. I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all. If anything it should be showing KI just how badly everyone wants a giga. In a perfect world it would be nice if the rumor buzz was so relentless that building anything but a giga would be a mistake. Lol I’ve been getting some mild flame in the comments on YouTube for nit picky stuff people don’t like about it. Not really mad since that’s my first legit finished No Limits coaster. I’ve always been trash at it until I decided to really put the hours in for this one. That said, there are some buttmad enthusiasts in the comments that should just pony up and build something better if they don’t like what I’ve laid down. Also still don’t care what anyone says, a coaster that doesn’t break 400 foot height isn’t a strata even if the drop is strata length don’t @ me
  5. I would cringe if they named it beast mode ugh
  6. I designed it to be my ultimate “wishlist” coaster. Not supposed to be a presction or forecast. Just me having fun. I would poop myself if we got a giga that looked anything close to that though.
  7. Lol they made me unbuckle my belt when I went for fear fest. Not take it off. Just unbuckle it. Security guy just said "Undo your belt" and I was super confused why. Sounded like he wanted me to drop my pants lmao, should have just asked me to take the belt off.
  8. How are lines for MT and FoF during winter fest? Would like to go with the family and get some rides in on those while we’re there.
  9. I would be so hyped if we end up with a 355’ Giga. I’d be ecstatic if it used the terrain to drop even further. oooo boi this is exciting.
  10. Ehhh I dunno I disagree. Nothing about paying homage to The Beast was a PR disaster last time except for the **** poor design of the ride. Many fans look back in SoB fondly (before it started falling apart) and it’s obvious the park does miss our fallen friend to a degree. They went so far as to even put a memorial near Banshee. If they were afraid of PR and wanted to simply forget SoB I seriously doubt they would have done that. It very may well not follow Beast lore and I’d be totally cool with that, but I don’t think it’s that crazy of a stretch to think they might go that route.
  11. Yeah I wanted it to blend in with the terrain and pay homage to The Beast by staying low and fast in the woods, but a huge brown Giga looked awful so dark green seemed to be the only option. It also felt like a crime to not continue The Beast lore and I couldn’t come up with a better name ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  12. Hey guys! I made a concept release trailer inspired by iDesign's (Zayzayd13 on here) No Limits 2 project. I've always been trash at NL2, but with the new force vectoring design I decided to give it an honest try. Once I realized you could import Google topography data into NL2 with some trickery, I was obsessed with the idea of building my own concept on the Firehawk land. This is my first truly complete NL2 project, and I think I spent around 130 hours on it. Hope you guys dig it. I'll probably post a full POV later, as the file sizes from NL2 capture are HUGE and the transfer from my PC to my video editing battle station takes ages.
