Oh okay, but maybe KI’s giga is just too big that it counts as two coasters LOL In all seriousness, the third of these mega coasters is probably just one that has not been announced yet, maybe overseas
-
There is a B&M Hyper is scheduled to open up in China later this year, so maybe that is one of the three mega coasters
-
Plus, in years past like in 2013 with the Banshee teasers and in 2017 with the Mystic Timbers teasers, the teasers were there on Opening Day, but there really weren’t any big new additions in those year in which the park would particularly want to put the public’s focus on
-
I thought about that too! Guess I just really want to see some teasers!
-
I saw this on Instagram, but unfortunately, I cannot read what it says! Could someone who is at the park snap a better picture? I think it says something about 2020 if I am correct, but I have no idea where it is
-
Could you post a picture of this if you can because I would love to see how that would look?
-
They could be trying to relocate some of those red maintenance buildings to give X-Base the makeover it deserves!
-
They still have the cleared land behind Banshee if they chose to take some of the ride back that way! Who knows... they may be using some of the land for an X-Base expansion, and if they do that, they will almost certainly want to top it off with a new coaster of some sort!
-
If the park is truly about bringing the people what they want like they say they are, it must be a giga coaster as I do not hear many people screaming for a dive coaster or a wing coaster!
-
I do not think that is the case because he probably noticed something different compared to the vast expanse of trees that borders the back of the park!
-
I agree, and I just want to see some pictures now!
-
I was a doubter a minute ago, but now I am so happy! Thanks for the update!
-
C’mon... I need more pictures or information
-
I do not think the Copperhead Strike ones went up until later either, and that was a great and detailed teasing campaign! Also, on opening day 2016, there was barely any land clearing for Mystic Timbers, but there were teasers!
-
Hopefully people can get pictures through the holes in the fence! EDIT: There is a fence right? There better be something to see!
-
I thought they always did the fireworks at 10:00
-
I am planing on attending the park either on Friday or Saturday, but since I can only go one or the other, what day is best? In all seriousness, I actually hope the predicted rain will scare some people away, and the park will be less crowded
-
That is definitely some sort of land clearing, but I find its location a little odd
-
Did it look to be a temporary fence, or something more “permanent” like a wooden construction wall? Is there any way you could post some pictures because I would love to take a look?
-
Yeah, and if they were laying concrete back there, it would almost certainly be on off-limits space because it is not likely that the concrete would fully set by the time the park opens on Friday Honestly, it very well could be footers or something for the Firehawk area

GLOCKENSPIEL TO RETURN FOR Kings Island’S 2019 SEASON
FUN&ONLY! replied to nhimes90's topic in Kings Island
I am only going to post this because the park has already posted a good amount of pictures on the Festhaus Glockenspiel, but the whole thing really looks incredible! -
I am sure everyone else is feeling the same way, but I really want there to be teasers on opening day as that would make for an extra interesting opening weekend on top of all of the other 2019 Additions
-
The gray track you mentioned could just be track that has yet to be painted
-
I do think a white and black color scheme would look cool, and anyone who passes Clermont Steel Fabricators regularly, do you know what color the tracks actually were?
-
I like the idea of green, but I would prefer it to be a little darker because I feel like a light color would also deteriorate over time (Diamondback’s lift hill supports are a whole different shade then when they were originally built)
