  1. Yeah it definitely seems like beast got a new control system during this refurbishment. The restraints all lock in a different pattern and the train takes forever to park . I hope they figure out a way to make it Park quickly because KI does a great job operations wise and it would be a shame to add an extra 30 seconds every cycle because of the slow parking . That being said beast is definitely incredible! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Nah we are all just screaming more loudly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I wouldn’t call it a bunny hill but you do get an interesting little pop going into the the concrete tunnel after the break shed. I’d have to ride again to even know exactly what that was as I was in the very back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Totally agree with you. Here is to KI completing the retracking for racer during the off season. Has the return section of track been painted ? If it has I’m skeptical they will retrack the rest of racer unfortunately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I think racer is smoother but I think that has more to do with the track being completely straight and less forceful. You can still feel the trains on beast shuffle a bit while banking and the helix is still intense but it’s still butter smooth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Some thing that might be related to that is I noticed that when the operators press the button to lock or unlock restraints you hear each individual car click in sequence as opposed to how it was last year where you hear two distinct clicks and buzzes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I felt exactly the same. The steeper drop angle isn’t really all that noticeable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The hype is definitely real! While it’s not the trimless experience that we all hoped would happen. It’s definitely an upgrade and it seems to ride very smoothly regardless of which seat you’re in. For the record I was in the very back of the train on a wheel seat and experienced zero discomfort. Some might say that it takes the edge off the ride and maybe I agree slightly but it’s still to me a net gain for it to be so smooth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I work directly with these people at great wolf lodge. The workers are very nice but upper management leaves a lot to be desired . I know workers who were asked asked their vacation time during Covid because they wouldn’t pay their workers if they got sick. But this isn’t particularly exciting news. I never play in the arcades when I’m at the park Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. My ultimate fantasy coaster is for some manufacturer to bring back the suspended swinging coasters (like The Bat ) but with more modern train designs that can maneuver inversions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Cmon it’s part of the experience lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. This is absolutely awesome to see. I know that they’re trying to celebrate their 50th anniversary but there was a lot of rides in the park that could use some paint especially racer. I am so excited to go check out the park in April. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The only reason I am bringing this up is because KI has been making a lot of small changes to the park and the parks 50th is coming up. I didn’t just jump to conclusions just because of old ride merch being sold . I’m still convinced that nothing is going to happen as far as racer is concerned but KI has a history of making teasers. The probability is never Zero Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Orion IS The simulator. These exact words were used in the Orion announcement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I’m cool with seatbelts but I wish that they were used as a way to keep the restraint down rather than keeping our bodies down. Like I love how for example on Banshee the seatbelt is a fail safe method to keep the restraint down and it really doesn’t affect the rider at all. As opposed to diamond back in Orion where you have to physically have a seatbelt buckled and assuming a restraint opened you would be relying on the seatbelt to hold you in . Idk if this makes any sense at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
