I think we already had this chat in a form when Top Gun Crashed last year destroying a train car. So when I went last year they had only one train left on the track. If you go this year look at Train #2 to see it is brand new and I don't think PKI will change the ride at any time after buying a new coaster train for Top Gun.

As you may have heard, this is the last season for WaterWorks. This area of the park will be replaced by a more exciting and exotic experience. Water Works is a 30 acre water park, but Kings Island saids 15 does that mean 15 acres will change?

Okay not sure if anyone has noticed that the Beach Stop running radio and Tv ads. That tells me one or two things that is going on with Water Works. I think Kings Island will tell us when its time. Pluse don't you think the Water Works of 1989 needs fixing up?

After reading the statement again it looks like Water Works will close. The park will change the name of Water Works to something and may retheme the area with some kind of expansion in 04. So I think the water park will still be there with a different name. Plus if they did build a coaster think of all the pipes and power lines the park would have to work around under ground. Didn't Hershey park had the same problem with a water coaster they built don't know how many times they had to rebuild it do to pipes and powers lines. I heard this on the Discovery Channel. So Next Year Bring Your Swim Suit!!!!!!!!!!!

Water Works = Nick's Splat City

The only think I can think of is that Water Works will have a new name and theme for 2004. I could be wrong about this. Does anyone think PKI will take out the train to make room for what ever is going to be build by water works? I can not speak for Shaggy but I don't think he can tell us what is going to happen as he said on coasterbuzz.

I bet no one has any idea what the new ride is going to be. Plus if they did why would they tell us now and get fired from PKI.

Okay back to Kings Island for 2004. Old West Theme Area in Rivertown Saloon Show Western Shops & Crafts Train Ride Improvements, more theming & rock slide attraction Sorry that was 1983 but thought I have some fun.

I have not saw a park ride announcement on a map frist. The only time that I saw a Kings Island map that was different than the others is when I got one on media day for Tomb Raider The Ride. It looked the same just had more art work and a spot for King Cobra saying coming 2003.

Oktoberfest gardens was the German theme name for the building. They changed the name to Festhaus when they stop selling metts and brats at Oktoberfest.

I am not sure what is going on with TOP GUN, but at Cedar Point Iron Dragon was going very slow. Kings Island does sometimes list rides out front that will be closed for the day. Last year if you looked King Cobra and Ski Lab where on that list.

not sure what the building is going to be it does look like a new stand or store. The metal things in the back are for a air conditionar or a some how letting hot air out of the building. Just have to wait and see.

Does anyone know if Kings Island keeps old audio recordings of rides that are in the park. If so do you know where you could find one. If Kings Island ever whated to sell a CD of the ride recording of the rides I would have to buy one. Even if you could only get the CD in the park.

Thank you Cris. Now I can tell my grandma that just rode the train for the first time in 20 years why all the themeing is gone. Its to back that the train is the one of two rides she can ride anymore in the park. She also loves to look at the flowers and bush in the park. Like she did at Coney Island.

I still don't get the idea of other parks giving up there coasters like Raging Bull from SFGam. Yes I have heard the rumors that Vortex was coming out durning the 2002 season but it is still running better than ever. For once I would like to see Kings Island take nothing out and just fix up the park and ad a ride in a area that is open with nothing in it.

On the last day two years ago they took all the snakes out of the frist tunnel. The mist has not been working in 2 years what is up with that. That was the best part of the ride when you rode at night or in the morning.

Does anyone know what year the figures on the Train ride at Kings Island was taken out of the park? Also why not ad some themeing along the tracks. I know CP has themeing not much but some and so do other smaller parks. The buildings looked like they where going to fall down this year. At least they cut the grass unlike other years by the fort.

Did Kings Island shoot the fireworks off in a different area back in the 80's? Also what do people think of the trees on the side of the tower. I went this year and had a hard time seeing the fire work show with all the trees in the way. What would be the best place on to see the fire works other than the tower?

I would be more than happy if Kings Island took out all the pay for rides in the park. Think of all the room Kings Island could build something with if they took all the pay for rides out. A new coaster could fit in that area very easy or some flat rides. But as long as people pay for the rides they will be in the park.
