  1. Also very true, but what about the Ride footage people get on Carousels? I know for fact that its not for safety there... they wont lose the camera, and they wont break it, pictures would be nice for those of us who just can't make it to PKI this winter...
  2. I would like to see pictures of theming if it would be possible to POV it Unlikely. It's probably still illegal to POV on it. And I dont understand that, its slow and it has no violent motions... i mean Really Slow... Wonder if an employee could snap some?
  3. I hope they didn't pay too much for this. Seeing how this was probably the worst attraction at the event. Must have been bad, I thought the Train at Fear Fest (During Nick-or-Treat) was bad enough... 1 little 2 little 3 little pumpkins... I didnt do it at night though, although I did see it, as I was getting on or off Tomb Raider... was I getting on or off??

  5. Just save up some cash and make it a big night out. If you walk into any place with the notion of getting your money's worth you'll always be disappointed. Just try to enjoy the spectacle and the shows and I guarentee you'll have a good time. stil, when you still pay for parking at an event like that, its kinda bad, do the trams even run?
  6. Hot and hot too LOL, you kill me
  7. Really when I think of someone in charge at PKI I would think Jeff Seibert, he is also an ACE Representative, and a great contributer to ACE... sad to see him go...
  8. I would love a Themed Diner to the Theme of Tomb Raider... but the problem is, it would have asian and middle eastern food, not something I desire... I think you give PKI too much credit on their ability to fully carry out a theme... quite possibly, but that is what comes to mind when I think of the Tomb Raider Movies... She went to Cambodia, arctic regions, Pacific, England, Africa... Maybe they could pull off some fine English dining... wouldnt be hard... "Fish and Chips" lol
  9. it might happen, but it wont be that great of a success there i dont think, however there will be a new games stand in Thanksgiving
  10. Indeed, however, though they look goofy there... and as they are very entertaining people, they also can do some mean bargaining... just think... this was the family that put together a themepark in the middle of a cornfield, called santa claus, which was formerly called santa fe indiana...
  11. Or just in Coney... On the topic of that, a friend of mine had a set up in his house... and I did the best, although I hate the game, and probably suck... hard, at it...
  12. What does it matter, wouldn't you suppose that would be the most logical reasoning for it being removed from RCDB? plus I hear it is going to be similar, however not the same as, the ride being installed/already installed at PGA, they are all similar to one another, however can be unique of one another with the addition of humps and turns... like a spinning coaster...

  14. Oh man, a sudden feel of nostalgia
  15. Oops... message had a flaw... sorry... Notice anything about this train that is not typical of most PTC trains? Anyone? Anyone at all? Perhaps the Gold Trim and placards. Also, the Voyage will feature a new PTC type of Seat Divider, which was prototyped on Raven this past year, maybe to be expanded to all PTC trains in the park... they are seemingly better for cheking the seatbelts for the kids that are a bit skinny... yeah, they tug on them. I can't wait to be in that seat!! I got a really early season ride on Raven's new train, and well, it's just not broken in yet... the old one was really flying in October!!
  16. Hot
  17. That doesnt make them the hardest working does it? they sit on their butts all day, and sure it might be tiring driving for a whole day... hmm... 10AM - 12AM or later... wow...
  18. I say Action Zone, they have a diverse selection of rides, and in my opinion, it is really the rides department that the rest lay on, without rides, PKI is nothing!!
  19. Maybe due to the fact that it is not a coaster? Its a modified Disk'O - Rockin' Tug
  20. That would be a neat attraction for kids...
  21. LOL! As a former food service person, advertise it all ya like. <G> Still the hardest working workers in the park! I tend to look at the Operations Department as the hardest working, do you listen to people screaming about their kid being too short? are you lifting ride parts? are you watching and waiting for trouble to happen so you may spring into action and save someone from dying? no... Sure foods is of the suck... but you know, that doesnt mean its the hardest... its just tedious.
  22. Same hear that was a great post. I didnt read it all, but I really want to go, I however have no time to go... as I have 2 jobs, school and a girlfriend, and somehow I manage to keep a life, however, not enough to be able to drive to Cincy to see you guys and PKI
