  1. Thank you very much Ogrmac!
  2. Well let's see first off, Wild Thornberry's is the perfect water ride that doesn't get yo absolutely soaked but just enough to cool you off. Also, Kings Island gives out free cups of water as well, which I strongly suggest you take advantage of because Pepsi and other carbonated beverages will dehydrate you very quickly. Take advantage of the shows in the Festhaus and Kings Island Thatre, the are really enjoyable and cool. Flight of Fear and SDATHC are the main air conditioned queue lines in the park but some others offer shade such as, The Racer, The Beast, Drop Tower, Invertigo, Delirium (For the most part), and WWC considering it is in through the woods; but the ride will leave you drenched, a little bit of FYI. Make sure you also check out the Coca-Cola Mist Zone over by Adventure Express in Oktoberfest.
  3. Hey guys, Jasper here, I just put in a job application to be a Scareactor online. It said I will be contacted when they have read and discussed my application. Hopefully they will want to hire me and I can have the pleasure of being a Scareactor. It is something I have wanted to do ever sine last year. I will post updates on here as the come in, wish me luck! -Jasper
  4. Which one, Fire, or Ice? Sorry I couldn't resist.
  5. That App would be called Shazam.
  6. I have always been a fan of Vortex's blue and orange theme, I liked it so much that when I first got my braces my bands were blue and orange. If I had to pick one coaster though it would probably be Batman And Robin:The Chiller, er was.
  7. Amen to that! Stop the coaster hate! Every coaster offers a different experience, and if you don't like the coaster and the experience it brings to the table, that's fine, but I don't think you should hate it. I back you 99%, I am a coaster enthusiast, I do love roller coasters. I love all of them except one. I think we all know which one that is. It's here at KI, but as I have stated previously in other threads, if it is open I will ride it, no more than twice but I will ride it.
  8. If I had a nickel for every time there was a poll started on this website, or even a topic about what your favorite coaster is, I would be able to purchase every phone in the Diamondback box brand new. I suppose I will answer the poll though. My favorite coaster period is Magnum XL-200. My favorite coaster at Kings Island is The Beast. But as Justin stated, I cannot pick one coaster over them all in some cases, I am a coaster enthusiast, I love them all.
  9. I might just have to do that, I will also include in my voicemail my support for Magnum.
  10. May I also request a shout out on next weeks episode. I love the podcast!
  11. I just left my voicemail. Can't wait to hear it in the next episode.
  12. I would definately reccomend Skyflyer to you, it is a great thrill ride and well worth the money. If you can, pull the ripcord yourself, in my opinion it is much more thrilling that way. Posted from my iPhone!!!
  13. Well since I have never been to Holiday World I can't really have a say so in this topic but from what I have heard, Holiday World has the edge in this debate. Here's what I wold compare, out of sheer judgement, Voyage vs. The Beast, Legend vs. Son of Beast, and Raven vs. The Racer. That's what I think, in my opinion, would be the best quote unquote, "Face/Offs" Posted from my iPhone!!!
  14. First time I rode Slingshot I was scared to death and I wouldn't even tr to make the cage do a flip. Now I try my best and scare my fellow riders.
  15. Drop Zone being the best, agreed 100%.
  16. Be expecting a voicemail from me within this week sometime. I am a dedicated listener and keep the episodes coming.
  17. ^Well said, Magnum was designed for airtime, Millennium was designed for hot nasty bada$$ speed.
  18. Captain, are you just asking to throw your whole mornings eating away that fast?
  19. Sometimes though being as you all call it "Messed Up", is not always the best thing. You should always drink responsibly and know your limit. As for taste though, I have no idea being I am only 17.
  20. Magnum, Millennium, then Diamondback. Don't get me wrong all three are great rides but this year Magnum really reached out and grabbed me as a coaster lover. Millennium is great, definitely a top 3 coaster and Diamondback is another great addition to KI. (Read my Sig and my avatar)
  21. I would really like to know where I can get the PT for my iPhone. Sounds to me like it would be a good soothing melody to fall asleep to.
  22. I didn't even know KI had 5 dollar shirts, I might have to go invest in some of these. I'll at least get one good wear out of it.
  23. I just usually take the picture, it doesn't kill ou to have your picture taken. Plus you can look at them online and buy from that website instead of going to Keyhole.
  24. Wow these pics are amazing, I never got to experience the true Top Gun ride so I am tickled to death to see these old pictures. I would still love to see the old pictures from underneath the station. I did not know there were like radars and stuff like that down there though, interesting... Posted from my iPhone!!!
  25. I am really very surprised that this happened especially at a park such as Disney World. But I guess it's one of those freak accidents that can happen at anytime anyplace. My condolences go out to the employee and his family. Posted from my iPhone!!!
