  1. ^I guess one can only hope because like I have previously stated, I loved Dead Awakening so to me it will be really hard to replace.
  2. I know that everyone and their mother knows this bit of info, if you look around the bottom o Vortex's supports you can still see old footers from The Bat, very well actually. Also, if you look at the transfer track on The Vortex you can still see where they had sections cut out to fit The Bat's track.
  3. Personally, I enjoyed Dead Awakening and thought it was an amazin show. I still have about 12 songs from the show on my iPhone and they all remind me of Haunt. As far as the mature theme, no don't it is intended for MATURE audiences by far. I am going to really miss this show a lot but I'm sure Hot Blooded will be a great replacement. Slaughterhouse looks like it is goin to be one of the most gorey mazes KI has ever seen. The pictures of skinless skeletons and from the description, dead animals are going to make it very exciting. Halloween Haunt is looking great in the pictures. Posted from my iPhone!!!
  4. The coaster looks very innovative. I wonder what type of experience on a Dueler you will get out of a sit down and a suspended? Just hope it's not another hang and bang.

  6. I went through a handful last year, Tombstone Terrortory, Redbeards Revenge, Trail Of Terror, and The Worksite. The best in my opinion was by far Trail Of Terror. It has some points where you don't know where you are or what is going to come out at you next. Give this one a try.
  7. Welcome to our nightmare, I think your gonna like it. There is some Dead Awakening reference for you.
  8. ^Yeah I know what you mean, but I still think it would be cool if we had something like that on here. Jasper-Sitting here browsing through KIC about to go read some English for homework before I pop in a bag of popcorn and go watch Caddyshack.
  9. I think it would be cool to have like a status update topic or something along the lines of a Twitter where we can just like post what were doing or how we're feeling at the moment. For example, someone with a Diamondback shirt walked in my History class the other day. I would have posted, "Someone in my history class is wearing a red Diamondback T-Shirt!" Just like a topic for something like this would be pretty cool I think.
  10. I tweet on my iPhone via Twitterific, so this update is really going to make my Twitter more worthwhile. Another great move by KIC!
  11. I didn't get a vote in due to me being on my iPhone but I'll vote whn I get out of class. My vote would be the texting and the twitter as a toss up. I text a lot, most of my conversations are text as a matter of fact, and I also Twitter a ton. So these are my favorte ways of being reached. As far as the off-season meet ups go, I think that's a terrific idea and I think it would be really fun. But, living in Richmond I might not be able to attend unless for some reason the meet-up came down here close to Lexington probably. I am willing though however, to become the eastern Kentucky regional KIC meet-up represenaive. Posted from my iPhone!!!
  12. I'd say you would have to catch on of them offguard like Justin did walking around the top. I think if it was only you and them they might telly you something or another about the strange happenings.
  13. Well I'm gonna go with the obvious here, the final helix. There's nothing like the beating you receive going into the tunnel, or the view of hands being up and then all of a sudden they all go down to a white knuckle grip. Posted from my iPhone!!!
  14. (Jasper Stands up and starts a slow clap for Terpy!) Kings Island is a place to go and have fun no matter what you are doing, some of my best days at Kings Island have been what you would call, bad days. Honestly though, there never is a bad day at Kings Island. It brings out the magic in your family and your friends. It is more than just a place for Enthusiasts like us. It is as Terpy stated, a magical place. Kings Island has some type of spell on it, whenever you go inside the park you are automatically transported into another world. A world where lines don't matter, food doesn't matter, all that matters is who your there with and the memories you make. That what I like most about Kings Island. Oh yeah, and the world class rides!
  15. ^Honestly, I think it is just some good ole fashioned Andy Griffith, Barney Fife humor and fun.
  16. Congratulations to Gary Wachs and Rich Walburg on the Walk Of Fame induction!!
  17. Well I guess all I can do is hope for the best. I hope it is kind of cold, I love those cold October nights at the Island.
  18. I believe I have noticed the catwalk on Flight of Fear to, because it took me forever to realize there was a mirror on the other side. -When you are in line for Vortex and you start to go up in the house, right below the big Vortex sign that lights up, you go up a set of like 3 stairs I think and make a slight left turn. After that turn you go up some more to a platform where you turn 180 degrees to the right. At this point look over the railing in front of you on the side of the station house. There is an air conditioning unit sitting on the side of the station. On top of this AC unit there is a very detailed smiley face drawn on the top. The unit is way too far out of reach for someone to lean over and draw it, as it is too high off the ground for someone to do the same. So how did it get there I wonder?
  19. Halloween is on a Saturday this year, as I am sure everyone knows, and I was going to go up on that day for Haunt and everything. Any insight on how the crowds would be on that day?
  20. Can I ask where that is at and how tall it is? That ride looks like it would be terrifying, especially to someone who is a bit leary of heights.
  21. I just read through this entire thread from beginning to end. Anyways, I have noticed the stench in between Festhaus and Delirium. It wreaks of vomit, it's almost unbearable. Another thing I have noticed is that the waterfall in the old Paramount Story is just sitting there dormant. I think that part of the park used to be beautiful, now that the Paramount Story is gone it is just kind of bland and blank. Also referring back to the old farm post, that is really creepy to me. I have never noticed that before but it is really close to Kings Island. My next time on Drop Tower I am going to have to look for some of these things previously discussed.
  22. That's cheaper than your normal ticket. I would pay that any day. 25 bucks for haunt and all rides.
  23. That would make my Kings Island trips go down from about 10 to zero. How much would Halloween Haunt cost McSalsa, under your plan of course.
  24. I think the body of water is in Darien Lake's parking lot.
  25. Wow! I have been to Darien Lake before and it is a really nice park with a great Intamin Giga coaster.
