  1. I never knew the difference between the white and black shirt officers, I assumed they were the same. Shows how much I know I guess. Now if they could just cut down in line jumpers.
  2. I love Nickelodeon, I grew up watching it and the classic cartoons like Doug, Hey Arnold, and Rocket Power were my favorites. I also loved to watch Scooby Doo, as I still do. That pretty much explains my answer, I am going to miss Nick horribly. Then again this change might be good because we were all doing the same thing when Nick U came in to replace HBL.
  3. I know this is judging a book by it's cover but when I look at a Guard at KI I don't think of very enforcing figures. I am sure they can enforce the law very good but they just do not look like they could handle a very drastic situation like the one above. But then again, size is not everything. Also, I do not mean to bring down KI Security, they have a very tough job of maintaining security at a very wild place, an Amusement Park. Their job is very tough and for that I commend them.
  4. I would really love to have some of the old Paramount shirts they had at the park during the ownership. Kind of like a wholesale section of the store for the old items.
  5. Yeah it is, the guard was just doing his job and ends up with a broken nose as well. I hate it when you have people around the park acting like this, I call them, "Bros"
  6. Article Very interesting article to say the least. Did anyone happen to see what happened here or were at the park that day?
  7. That is one thing in my collection of pointless KI stuff I do not have, a plastic mug/cup. I have just never wanted to fork out the money for them but I have been thinking and I really want one.
  8. Was anyone injured in the process?
  9. I think they need to install camera or have kind of like a ride-op monitor the tunnel, I hate the way the gum looks on the wall, and it's not just gum, dip as well.
  10. Wow those are some very nice pictures, I'm glad you took them and posted them on here. There are some really creepy decorations up there this year, like the one of the midget poking the fire with the guy in the cage. Looks impressive, BTW very nice Trip Report.
  11. With it being a Friday night people may be going for just Haunt itself so the line may be really slim. Hard to tell though as the line can vary so much.
  12. I would really like to see them add KI to that store, KI is now a staple in the Cedar Fair chain IMO. An online store would be great.
  13. I have been just looking on Google and Ebay for some Kings Island Apparel and I cannot find any anywhere. They have a couple of shirts on Ebay that I kind of liked but none like they have at the park today. I personally think an online clothing store would be great.
  14. I just had a thought today while I was sitting in class taking my History exam and a student in a Diamondback shirt walked in and I in my Kings Island postcard shirt. Wouldn't it be cool if KI had like an online clothing store, like where you could go online and purchase clothes. I for one know I would use this store a ton because of my fascination with KI T-Shirts, all amusement park T-Shirts for that matter. What are your all's opinions on the matter?
  15. Vice versa as well. I just thought about what you said and I pictured the image in my head of The Eiffel Tower without the fountains and the other way around as well, it would not look right at all. Just last year around the time of Haunt I heard a new AC/DC song and I also heard Foreplay long time by Boston and I was singing along and at the same time wondering, why am I doing this? The worldly music was a lot better IMO, it gave off a better more majestic vibe.
  16. Yo James whats happenin' dawg? The good stuff at Halloween Haunt this year, besides everything, is, of course, Hot Blooded the new Revue, from reading the reviews Trail Of Terror is back to it's usual self of thrilling guests with a good scare, and I have also heard that Club Blood is it's usual self as well. I have not heard many good reviews on the part of the new Mazes such as Cut Throat Cove and Slaughterhouse. I have not been to haunt though so all of these are coming out of strictly reviews I have read on this forum.
  17. Those images are great, good to see some good ole fashioned Halloween Family fun aside from the blood and gore of Halloween Haunt. I wonder if they have kid themed Halloween Event rankings, I am sure Howl-O-Fest would rank right up there with the best of them.
  18. Does any coaster at Cedar Point count as one. Just kidding guys, honestly I have 4 choices, one, Millennium Force, two, Top Thrill Dragster, three, Maverick, and four, the one, the only, Magnum XL-200. My latter choice is probably my favorite. I know though everyone in the general public would rather see us get Top Thrill. But, us enthusiasts think and know there is more to a coaster than just high speeds and tall hills.
  19. 1.Yes, or at least at Kings Island you can. KI did away with the separate admission for FearFest a while ago I believe. 2.The crowds are usually pretty heavy from about 3 o clock and on. At night they can get to be unbearable. 3.I would ask you doctor if you have permission to resume your coaster riding.
  20. To me Six Flags Magic Mountain has just built some senseless things, like Scream for example. It seems to me like they just stuck it in a parking lot and took away another park dong a lot more with said coaster, oh wait. I agree with Nemo here, quality over quantity, Cedar Point has both down to an art. I cannot say the same for SFMM considering I have never been to the park.
  21. The red eyes in The Beast tunnel would be a very nice addition.
  22. They did that in Phantom Theater during one of the first years of FearFest. Do it again! Then wouldn't you have to put up scenery in there and close down a major kid ride during the day?
  23. First and foremost, I would bring back Dead Awakening, don't yell at me as I have not seen Hot Blooded yet. Then I would put a lot more fog as you enter Coney Maul and have tons of ScareActors roam the midways. I would add more of the guys with the knee pads on that slid around the midway and scared the daylights out of people. As stalker said, a doll factory would be perfect. Maybe make FoF's queue into like an alien haunt. You could have people enter through FoF's exit to get to the actual ride perhaps, just an idea. Have a maze dedicated to old movie characters, i.e Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Scream, and Leatherface. Have line roaming ScareActors so that the guests waiting in line did not get overly bored and begin to lose interest in Haunt. Have more pop-out scares in mazes. Bring back Maze Of Madness and Curse Of The Crypt. Have more ScareActors in X-Base and all around the park in general. For my last idea bear with me here. Where The Beast's walkback area is, make that a haunted trail with some kind of lore of The Beast playing a role. I know it sounds dumb and it probably impossible, but I think it would be quite entertaining.
  24. I am hoping that by the time I get to go through Slaughter House the maze kind of starts to smell hopefully a little bit better. Smells irritate my stomach and if I smeel it for too long it can make me really sick. That is a nice touch to add to the maze though I must admit. A stinky one, but good.
  25. There is an ongoing thread about KI being haunted, its about a gazillion pages long. My uncle was actually at the park the night this happened, I have never really asked him about it though. I am pretty sure it was a grad night event.
