I really wish they would change Top Gun errrr..... Flight Deck to afterburner i think that would fit much better.

Man that looks like the good ole days of Kings Island back in the 80's (Greatest Decade IMO). But i cant complain too much considering we have it made pretty good now. Great find though it looks cool to see all those old rides back in their hayday.

Can you furnish the picture of that newspaper ad? The funniest one i have ever heard is that same old rumor that someone has died in The Vortex. And that it is sinking.

I use to play with legos as a kid but now i think that they are getting to be too creative. Like now you cant go out and find a set with just the basic blockas all they have is the ones that have like big monster figures and have only like 3 normal pieces in them. I miss when i was a kid.

Man oh man what i would give to have Phantom Theater back. I loved that ride so much.

^ I diasagree mine preference would be The Beast,Flight of Fear, Vortex, Face/Off, and Firehawk. I have noticed also that when you market like that it boosts the rides popularity massively.

I hardly evert visit that site anymore mainly because i know most of the specs on the rides and if i want pics of them i either come here, rcdb, coastergallery, or many many other websites. But glad to see the site revamped.

Ok the Crypt is kind of cool i will say that and Backlot Stunt Coaster just does not sound right imo. But Flight Deck tops the cake. That sounds like such a generic name and like you came up with it in like 30 seconds. But i will still always call the rides by their original name. Does anyone know when the new park maps are coming out.

No. Also the ride in Japan did not have someone fall out due to not wearing their restraint, it was more like this: Where was this at and did anyone die during this accident.

Look at the website. It is his passion and his job to know what that stuff is. Everyone here is a Kings Island junky and we study every little detail.

Ok Tomb Raider was the most heavily themed ride in Kings Island history or something like that. Am I right? So how are you just going to get up and go change a ride that took 20 Million Dollars to construct. To Me it is going to look very weird without the little pre-show showing the story of Lara Croft. "Famous Last Words"

^Very nice pics. I have always wanted to visit one of those marine type shows where all the whales and other stuff jump around. They make for one of the most photogenic moments in all of show buisness.

I am assuming due to mass amounts of rust that that portion of track would have been one tough cookie to unbolt.

Last year opening day was a beautiful day as far as weather goes but as far as rides and such, only about half were up and running all day. It also took me an hour to get sum skyline.

Bare Bones Nights were a success. Will they come back next year? Maybe, maybe not. Halloween is on a Friday, so they'll probably just keep KI open Oct 31st, November 1st, and 2nd. I hope you are right i really like going up in November after all the Halloween Festivities are over and the park has sort of died down a bit.

Wow a 16 year old working controls for an amusement park ride. To me there is something wrong there. Anyone else?

Son of Beast is a ride that i really do not like but i can live with it sometimes i mean hey, it is a coaster afterall.
