Speaking of Drop Towers i was up at Louisville for the National Farm Machinery Show & Championship Tractor pull which is located in Freedom Hall and literally right across the parking lot is Kentucky Kingdom and i saw Superman Tower Of Power and it just sent shivers up and down my spine because i realized the last time that ran was on that horrible day. It was just one of those things that you get a weird feeling when you see and think about it.
Guys i mean we can argue all we want and complain but that still does not change the fact they they are probably to going to bring back the classic HB characters.
Hmmm i never noticed the door i just always though that they got on top of the ring and rode it to the top and when they got up there climbed through the window.
Ok the new names are not even really going to be an issue for me because i know my way around Kings Island like the back of my hand and i am still going to call them the old names.
Hehe mine to. I went at the beginning of August and it started to absolutely pour the rain and i went in a bathroom to the right of Magnum XL-200 and stayed there for about 30 minutes or so.
Under the Eiffel Tower would make a perfect wedding chapel and for the honeymoon i would go to the Great Wolf Lodge and chill there and Kings Island for about 5 days straight. Ahhh the perfect plan.
Shoo man that takes a lot of guts to go up almost 300 feet in the air and perform maintenence. I have never seen that door either hmmm ill have to look and see if it is open next time.
I tend to watch boomerang every now and then especially when Scooby Doo or some other old HB cartoon comes on. I am not really too fond of the new Justice League Superman or Batman ones. Today they aired an episode of Scooby Doo that i had not seen in a while it was the one where they meet that Witch Doctor in the hills and they are rustling cows in a cow costume it was pretty god to see after a while.
First off congratulations on your new addition. Second i cannot wait to see this when it is done and i must admire you for taking your time to do this. Big ups to you man.
Ahhhh here we are again at the old discussion about the trim brakes on The Beast. Personally i hate them and i would love to see them go but i understand where all the maintanence and other stuff can be an issue because when you have a what 7or 8 ton train going over a track that is wooden and can not take that much stress at 65+ miles per hour you rise more issues with the track thus leading to a major bit of track repair every year.
Wow that Vertigo looks like it is pretty insane. From what i read on wikipedia it seems like ti would be one thrilling ride experience but the part where it syas the restraints were meant to make you feel insecure that part scares me a little bit. I cant stand rides that have supports like that especially one that goes up 300 ft. and you come down facing the ground at over 50 mph. The first time i rode skyhawk i had my arms up and we got on the outside on a big swing and that was the only time i think i have ever felt insecure on a ride but from then on i loved the ride and rode it many more times.
^Very true most people dont unless you are going some place that has like an indoor waterpark or you are a real real hardcore amusement fan and you just love the sheer fun of going to an amusement park. For me i went to CP 3 days in a row this year an di enjoyed every minute of it and then on my way back to Ky. we stopped by Kings Island and stayed at the hampton inn right across the way. So i guess you can say for me that was a vacation.
Oh man how i am going to miss the famous TR:TR pre-show.
