That would be nice to see a vintage Kings Island gift shop go in there. But it would be difficult to find some merchandise to sell to the public.

^I wouldnt consider SOB a pice of crap. I would consider it a piece of junk that is rough as a cobb. But i mean it is still a decent coaster. What do you expect for a wooden coaster 200 feet tall.

I cant see a coaster or anything for that matter going back into the woods by The Beast. That would ruin the effect The Beast has. AKA.Feeling of flying through the woods with nothing surounding you and the feeling of out of view from anyonee

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but i have to disaggree with oyu on this one. I cant see Kings Island getting a coaster with such size as a B&M Floorless especially in Rivertown.

My favorite defunct rides would have to be......... King Cobra, Days Of Thunder, Flying Eagles, and I would have to say one of the ones i most miss is Phantom Theatre. I will never forget the first time i saw Maestro, it was very enchanting. (No pun intended)

Whenever i found out they removed the heartline roll i was kind of sad because i had always thought that it would be pretty wicked to go through that. Maybe they could have moved the heartline to the little overbanked turn that goes through the first hill. That might have worked.

Interpreter will you be attending IAPPA this year in Orlando? And i think the ride you are talking about is Frog Hopper. Am i correct?

I am in shock. How could you say such a thing? Demon Drop better than Drop Zone? Is the world coming to an end. I love Demon Drop but it is in no way, shape, or form better than Drop Zone. I am apalled t your comment.

Yet another sad person apart of this strange world we like to call Kings Island perpatrators. i for one think it would add a very nice effect to the ride and for one it should be in horrible condition, why bother to fix it up if it is not in use. I would like to see the old red color back though.

Nice pics i really like the all time famous shot of The Vorex from atop the Eiffel Tower and yes there is no other view greater than the one when you are getting out of your car stertching from a long drive and you see the Kings Sialnd skyline. I must admit Cedar Points is quite impressive but Kings Island's will always hold a place in my heart,

If they brought back Phantom Theater, they could loosely theme it to danny phantom, and redo the outside to look like an even better haunted theater. They could add new animatronics made to look like ghosts from danny phantom, add a new jimmy neutron themed flying eagles, and add the gerstlauer coaster that Airromeo4Ever came up with and call it an expansion to nick universe. You would want to re-theme a classic ride that was a cornerstone of the park and re-theme it to a nickelodeon show which in my opinion is not even that good. That is why i do not watch Nickelodeon i always watch Boomerang now because it gives more of a classic feel for cartoons. As far as rides i would like to see something like the flying eagles go back into Nick Central and it get re-named HBL. And for the main pat i would like to see a major steel coaster go in there well over 200 feet and full of airtime.

I might consider purchasing one but like everyone has said i would have to see a picture of it first. The Son of Beast one doesnt sound too bad.

This might be a dumb question but i was wondering why they remove the heartline from Maverick. I should probably know this and you guys can yell at me or whatever i just have always wondered why?

And if your not careful Kings Island wont be the only thing dead on a 100 degree day. Top Gun is also bad because when you waste your time walking back there to find that the line is really backed up but you cant see it from the midway then you have to turn all the way around and walk back.

The shortest i have waited for Firehawk is the when we got there before the rope was down and we sprinted to Firehawk and waited like 1 cycle and then when we got off we were going to take advantage of the short line but it ha dgrown 1 hour in the span on 1 ride on Firehawk. Does anyone else agree with me when i say that Vortex has got the worst queue line ever. I mean you go into the building and there is one set of turnstials and that is it. What happens if it is backed up out of there then the line is going to go down Coney Mall for about a mile. Also i have waited in line for about an hour and a half for The Beast. It was backed out by the old Coca-Cola zone and it had all the turnstials open. Well worth it though. I also wish they would bring back the paw prints that made it much more exciting when going back to it.

^Yes it does seem like on Power Tower you are up the lift in like/tower in like 10 seconds. Not even enough time to build up anticipation.

I have too been noticing the short lines this year. Knock on wood for saying this but Drop Zone is about one of the safest rides in the park. I am going to go on a limb and say that. I rode Power Tower and for some reason Droo Zone is just much more of a thrilling ride i dont know why. I would hate to see Drop Zone go. I love it!
