1. That is the support, FOF/Z. I went inside the "drum" at BeastBuzz this year. That support just alwase scares me. I call it a bowl becuase it is a "Spagheti Bowl" type ride.
2. Its right before the train exits the bowl and goes back into the launch/brakerun tunnel. I know its there.
3. Here is almost solid proof of a 2006 or 2007 ride. Click here and press Ctrl+F. Now type paramount. Hit enter and look at the movie that is displayed. Keep hitting enter. This is what I found: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days Till Human Voices Wake Us Hunted, The Core, The Better Luck Tomorrow House of Fools Man on the Train, The Italian Job, The Rugrats Go Wild Northfork Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life And now... Ladies and Gentlemen (insert random movie names here) School of Rock, The (more random movie names) Tupac Resurection (more random names) Paycheck Now, out of those movies name all the action oriented ones... Here they are! (along with their box office revenues): Core, The ($31,111,260) Italian Job, The ($106,126,012 [international:$175,826,012]) Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life ($65,653,758) School of Rock, The (kinda, was at hit) ($81,261,177 [international:$110,367,008]) Paycheck ($53,789,313 [international:$89,350,576]) And the movie with the higest revenue is...THE ITALIAN JOB! You wonder eh? And in 2004, plans are made to make two coasters at PKI and PCW themed to it. A coincidence? I think not! As for School of Rock, shows at PKI and PC (others?) are announced that are themed to it. Thats just 03.... Now for 04 movies, here are the action oriented ones and their revenues... The Manchurian Candidate ($65,948,711 [international:$66,489,178]) Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow ($37,760,080 [international:$49,730,854]) Now, Manchurian Candidate isnt much of a theme park movie. Sky Captain didnt get that much viewers. This only leads me to conclude that we will either get a Sky Captain ride, or no ride at all in 06. Just my oppinion.
4. Least favorite would have to be Ghoster Coaster. I ride single on that thing, and the brakes just KILL you! Favorite would have to be Top Gun. Yes. Now that I think of it, its one of the better coasters in the park.
5. I have them up for the first half of the ride. I put them down at the MCBR becuase after that its all low, tight and close to supports. The only support I fear is that last one right after the corkscrew.
6. Well, what scares me is, I can touch the railing anywhere along the ride on The Beast easily. Going into the helix's there is that little mass of wood on the top left, that scares me, I know I can hit it. But I'm going like 45-55 MPH so I dont want to try. I like my fingers.
7. I was stuck on The Beast's lift my last trip or so becuase somebody had a drink or somthing so the ride op (casey) came out and looked around. I dont know why but he stood there for like 30 secs and I talked to him.
8. The other, from google, looks to be just a plot of land by FOF's bowl and SOB's big helixs.
9. As of today (7-08-05) Nothing has changed.
10. Well, I was feeling light headed, and it seemed very intense, maybe I'm dehydrated, becuase I'm feeling the same right now.
11. ^ Well if there was a better example, then it would be better. I've found that you dont need to buy the soft drink in any of the eating places to have a drink. Water is free like any other resturant. Also, Its good to wear kneepads to ride the Son of Beast. Look at me looking goofy!
12. Well, it all depends on how fast they launch you. They could launch you super fast (Like the ride I had today) and brake alot. Or, you can have a slow launch and no brakes. It dose seem like they are launching faster and not braking as much. Also with Italian Job, I almost blacked out in the helix's.
13. I'm sure that someday they will be beaten. But with the price of wood these days, people arent so ready to dish out all the money for wood supports. Unless The Beast or Son of Beast is taken down (hopefully not) I belive they will keep their records for the next 5-10 years.
14. I've only been on two times (wow eh?) Its about 1400
15. ^Zoso has a point. Its best to have the right answer and not asume anything, also when people might belive you!
16. They are out in the cold all winter. Who knows what can go wrong.
17. How about just a general park video with fun highlights (like clips of jokes etc etc) and nice music?
18. I saw the TV's red in the middle of the day. They are just old TV's so they are messed up. Its nothing to get spooked over.
19. No, counting the space starting from the skyflyer area entrance to TG, then everything under the station, its the longest.
20. King Cobra, hands down.
21. Son of Beast dispatches trains becuase there is alwase somebody on the other train, at the brake run, waiting to get out of the uncomfortable seat/restraint.
22. Thunder Road was probably going to be themed to somthing like a race, hence Thunder ROAD. I'm not sure what it would of been exatly but that is my best guess.
23. There is a STEEP drop off road right by the lift. We were on the walk back tour and they were saying that is has to be taken in 3rd gear or you'll crash. It probably went down there.
24. When I was at the park recently, it seemed that they were having problems with the transfer track.
