  1. Imagine how much more incredible it would feel if it were a REAL giga as advertised.
  2. Not too far off from what we have now, I've had lights on rides that could've fooled me. The amount of exposed and falling insulation, mold, and vomit in that tunnel makes me think it should stay in the dark.
  3. If the park wants to try and compromise, retheme Backlot Stunt Coaster to "antique cars gone off the rails" The ride could start as a bootlegger car chase with early 1900s cars speeding through city facades or barns and replacing the helicopter part with a police blockade or something similar. This could even be a chance to have a "Mini 1920's Cincinnati" area that embraces the throwback. If they extend the coney cobblestone and lamps into the ride plaza, it would make the whole ride and area feel less like a junkyard. Maybe add a small kids are similar to Good Gravy at Holiday World where the empty pad is.
  4. According to them, Vekoma does build the coasters. They are a full-service manufacturer, they're responsible for both the design and the construction. Parks may hire other companies for specific parts of the project, like landscaping or additional theming, but Vekoma claims they handle the actual construction and installation of the ride. 5. It fills a niche spot of the park that gets a lot less traffic with DA and Vortex being gone. I think it's a fun experience that gives you a more thrilling observation experience than the Eiffel Tower. Maybe a new area in Vortex' plot can flood more traffic its way.
  6. I speculate that attendance is tracked hourly through the ticket booths, (incidentally including some employee stragglers going in and out). I also speculate that data is archived as far back as said metric was tracked.
  7. I think Vortex's former spot would make for a great new area that bridges Coney Mall and Rivertown. You can still fit an exciting coaster albeit with a smaller footprint than Vortex to also fit some more flat rides and shops.
