  1. Holy oof Gonna be a hard one to cope with, gonna take some time to wash this one down. RIP to that big beautiful steel taco looking thing, drop had me like “ahhhhh”
  2. Looking back on this question, I rescind my former answer. The WindSeeker bathroom is the best…for now. Once we get The Vortex replacement foot traffic will return to the area, turning this sleepy hidden gem of the park into a bustling spring of activity. As it stands, it’s a great place to unwind, hearing the sounds of the Antique Cars, Racer, and the music of WindSeeker drift through the door of the bathroom and into the stalls. Do you think the bathroom by WindSeeker will get renovated whenever we get a Vortex replacement?
  3. That’s like saying Orion and Great Pumpkin are the same because they’re both roller coasters. There’s so many different factors that go into what makes a strong bathrooms experience at KI, cleanliness, location, build quality, and color palettes all play a HUGE factor in determining what separates the outhouses from the royal thrones. Let me put it like this, let’s say you gotta go, would you rather go to a sweaty, busy I Street bathroom at the start of the day, or maybe waltz a little further into the park and find a nice secret stall that you can relax, maybe scroll some KIC, and really lock in and set a plan on how to conquer your day. I know which option I would choose…
  4. While every visit to KI I may not get on a ride, there is one thing I always do, go to the restroom. I’ve always been a fan of the restrooms near Backlot, just something about those subtle brown and beige colors of the building makes it easy to do to my business. Plus, knowing all of those thrilling attractions like The Beast or Diamondback or roaring by only a few hundred feet away, it really reels me in and gets me excited for my day. What’s your favorite restroom?
  5. Imagine this, you walk into the park expecting to see the normal royal fountains, and instead you notice the Kings Island sign is missing, and is that - that a red carpet? You gaze further down where the sign was and see the red carpet transition into steps, INTO, the fountain. Welcome: to the Royal Hot Tub *insert Jurassic Park music* The fountain is a waste of space, it’s old, valuable real estate, has to be converted every winter and then brought back to life, what if we could collectively enjoy the magic of the fountain all year long by converting it into a hot tub? SF/CF loves building on the legacy of their parks, and this would be the perfect way to honor and continue the legacy of the Coney Island pool, by creating this centralized hot tub for guests to enjoy. Also imagine after a long day of winterfest going for a soak, floating down I street, closing your eyes, smelling all the tasty treats, taking in the magic of the season. As an upcharge maybe they do like adult only night senor frogs style with foam parties and rave lasers, have a DJ on the Eiffel Tower? Thoughts?
  6. Probably add a loop to Adventure Express a loop with those three bench trains would have me geekington
  7. Great ideas here guys, love seeing how we’re incorporating the loopy Dee loops into the rides without loopy Dee loops. Mystic would be pretty sweet with a loop around the lift hill like Kumba or Banshee
  8. Boo Blaster isn’t going to make out of this decade, and a replacement is on the horizon. They could take out the ride system, gut the building, and replace it with the Midwests only All Indoor Straddle Coaster. This would be similar to DarKoaster in that it does two separate laps via a switch track, and would have subtle theming differences between each lap. Story goes Boocifer is back and you have to hop on motorcycles to escape him and the spirits around the house. Thoughts?
  9. What ride would add a vertical loop to my brotha @Orion-XL200
  10. If you could add a vertical loop to one ride at KI what would it be and why? for me: Adventure Express, because it would be DOPE
  11. Yeah that double down looks great
  12. If I could put in any last minute addition it would probably be to convert the second story La Rosas’s into a podcasting studio for Tower Topics. Imagine a state of the art facility, similar to the Joe Rogan Experience, nestled in the heart of the park, so Don and Ryan can truly focus and hone in on their craft. Additionally, in The Vortex plot two separate mansions for Don and Ryan respectively, along with a heli-pad and helicopter for when they need to film content for Worlds of Pod or a guest is flying in. This way they can chill at the park 24/7, give these guys their own refresh stations respectively that no one can get to, and unlimited Pub Burgers. Also a prestige lounge (for tower topics prestige members only) that’s the height of the burj khalifa for them to chill and hang out and film reels for content.
  13. They should play this song whenever the waves start at Soak City: Everyone could float around like a crab, just hanging out, maybe do some crab arm motions. Just kinda opens up the theme of Soak City a lot more you know, let’s it be a choose your own adventure kinda beat Like you swim up next to someone and their like “o what’s up man I’m also a crab come in the waters nice and warm”
  14. Crazy that KD cancelled winterfest it’s almost like they didn’t open their indoor rides, restaurants, or change the event line up once since 2018… This is classic CF, if it doesn’t work just cancel it, don’t try to change it, just give up. Happens all over the chain, what a shame.
  15. SIR YOU DON’t UNDERSTAND I HAVE THE PRESTIGE PASS AND A WICKED GREEN TOWER TOPICS T SHIRT THAT COMES IN ANY SIZE YOU CANT KICK ME OUT OF STARBUCKS
  16. Troll? I’m literally talking about ways to enhance the guest experience and reduce friction, increasing shareholder value with a new and familiar revenue stream, and refreshing culinary options with vegan inclusive options, don’t really see how this could be deemed trolling? It also alleviates recruiting as staffing would be done externally, and provides guests a familiar and comfortable option for those who aren’t as familiar with park options. Following these ideas up with practical ways to market these additions (ex: Mike skydiving off the Eiffel Tower) is an easy way to drum up hype, similar to the Walenda walk. If you think this real, concrete, and practical ideas that I proposed in this thread are “trolling” then you must be high as schell.
  17. Imagine Mike koontz skydiving off the Eiffel Tower hitting the parachute landing on the ground and then putting on the BK crowd and everyone cheers. Tell me again how this is a bad idea….
  18. What’s dumb about it? Brings down cost for the park, provides guests with something they like, and it’s made your way! At BK!
  19. This is only for civs, though if some associates want to talk about smoking behind the scenes and their favorite spots go ahead, just clarify for us normies. Imagine lighting one of these up on the second lift of The Beast.
  20. We all remember the good ole days when a young gent or gal could spark up a black and mild or rip the ole geek bar in the park, before that beautiful privilege was taken away from us. My favorite smoking area was back by WindSeeker, it was peaceful, would watch the ride go up, and down, and up, and down, repeat. Though the X-Base one does hold a special place in my heart, sometime I would chain smoke and feel like a character out of a sci-fi movie, stressed from these GOV nda’s ruining my life, but feeling a brief moment of freedom when I would light up a marb red. What was your favorite smoking area at Kings Island?
  21. Letting the chef decide what we (the guests) eat does not seem in line with what we want. We want it our way, and we want to eat like Kings, with a crown atop our heads. When Gary Wachs conceptualized Kings Island, he wanted I-Street to be a celebration, a welcome, focused on flags, fountains, and fun. He stated that the cuisine needed to represent all nations, which would include America, it would be a disservice to him, THE FOUNDER, of KI to not include some grub that is patriots like. So what would that be? Burgah King (pronounce this like Peter Griffin would, family guy reference lol) YOU get to choose it your way, be a king, and get to enjoy a mother flippin custom flame grilled Whopper on I-Street. Could you imagine how magical that would be? Now imagine seeing Snoopy? Yeah, case dismissed, it would be baller.
  22. My stomach is grumbling at the thought of onion rings at KI. Mmmmm tasty! Also imagine wearing those crowns at the park? It would probably be good publicity, they could take photos of guests wearing them and be like “yo check out these kings” or something like that.
  23. Yeah but think about how tasty it would be. Imagine this: it’s hot you’re walking down I street, major swamp *ss going on in your cargo shorts. You see to your right that beautiful burger shaped logo, and it’s like “bro I was about to leave the park for lunch but honestly they already have a BK let me hit that jaunt,” and then you go inside. A friendly BK team member greets you by saying “HERE YE HERE YE WELCOME TO BURGER KING WHAT CULINARY ADVENTURE CAN WE CRAFT FOR YOU TODAY, FIT FOR A KING!” You order a whopper, no onions because those sh¡ts are gross. It comes out to you on a black tray, and you get to consume your whopper your way while looking around at the electric atmosphere of a Burger King. Chills. Yeah but it would be pretty awesome and a great addition to the park imo
  24. I’m curious, how would you feel about a Burger King going in the Grain and Grill spot? Seems like it could be a cool option, would add a lot of value to guests and shareholders, as well as a chance for everyone have it “your way” at Kings Island. How would you feel about a Burger King going on International Street?
  25. What does this even mean? Is this beef between you two a publicity stunt? WWE style theatrics to build up hype for the show? (Ryan blink four times in the next episode during the first listener question if Don is holding you hostage at gun point, we’re here for you buddy.)
