If there’s clearing and work being done on it anything like that is good news it’s just weird and useless for it too still be there if there’s no real good use for it so tear it down or use it. it would be cool for a future theming fly through for a new coaster. Don’t use the station as the actual station. location of the station for a new ride somewhere else and have the coaster fly through this old SOB station and have theming elements in there possibly tying back too SOB.

Now I can’t Remember the last picture I have seen of the station but these pictures it looks a little more cleared out and empty from the last time Ive seen it but it could very well have looked like this for awhile just not sure. I’m not reading anything into this as I don’t think there is much too this.

Thoughts on Beast Re-Track ? I rode it once on Friday running great. As I thought the re track really didn’t make much of a difference but no biggy it’s still running great I did notice the 1 time I rode it that it still had the pot hole affect on the second part of the double helix finale which again doesn’t bother me still running great but did notice it was still there.

Can we discuss Flight of Fear ? Tried riding it yesterday decided too give it another shot this year for 2026 and nope it’s the same 1 and done never again this year. I don’t see how so many people love this ride. It’s super rough throws you around not in a good way and has the most uncomfortable seating ever invented. I hear people complain about The Beasts roughness but in my opinion FOF is MUCH rougher than The Beast. Beasts roughness is fun but FOF roughness just hurts you. I love the theming of it but that’s about it. Wouldn’t mind at all too see this ride disappear but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

I had the shrimp po boy and pasta salad and chicken shack tenders today shrimp po boy and pasta same as last year very good hope this location is open more this year during the week it was mostly open weekends only last year. I kept going back and forth what I wanted for my second meal I wanted too try the new footlong hot dog with Mac and grippos at brewhouse but it was a pretty long line at dinner time so I decided too try too get that another day

I’m pretty sure that’s what they were doing when I was up there it was either that or they were doing every other buggy. I saw AT LEAST 6 or 7 buggies move forward with nobody on them before I got up but there would be one loaded in between 1 or 2 not loaded I kept thinking too myself why are they not loading every buggy, why are they skipping buggy’s so I don’t know maybe they were doing that or doing something just that moment I was up there for about 5-10 minutes

Last year the portion sizes were very generous and I’ve heard rumors from other parks this year that portion sizes have shrunk dramatically so when I got that from chicken shack it worries me but we shall see. My other meal was the shrimp po boy so you can’t really adjust that portion size it’s always the same and it was delicious as always. food lines were very reasonable from what I saw around dinner time they got a little long but they seemed too be moving and not much slow downs. For first day open they probably did very well

Not sure if anyone else experienced this but they were only loading 2 buggies at a time and then skip 2 buggies then load 2 more again that would contribute too a longer wait time as well

So I’m just going too accept that this was due first day open, new employees, still learning, still fine tuning things. I got the chicken tenders are chicken shack the portion size was TINY TINY TINY. 3 of the smallest chicken tenders you’d ever seen pretty much 3 small chicken chunks wish I would’ve taken a picture. I have all season meal plan so I didn’t care but if I were someone who didn’t have a meal plan and I paid $20 for this I would be throwing a fit. but I’m gonna accept it’s early and things will get better. Bbq sauce empty outside chicken shack too happened a lot last year so right back too it

So we are only a day away from passholder preview how have they not released the meal plan items and menu for all locations I find that kind of ridiculous. With very little too no new food items announced for this year the dining experience is starting too worry me if it’s gonna take a hit this year. Thoughts ?

As much time that has gone by I’m almost tired of hearing “Vortex replacement” whatever eventually goes in that spot should not be thought of as a “Vortex replacement” it’s been too long. Something needs done with that plot of land though and I would completely be fine with 2-3 flat rides and another indoor sit down restaurant in this plot of land. If that happens I would hope for a major coaster in Action Zone. An Invertigo/congo falls/timberwolf removal and replacement. whichever of these concepts comes first doesn’t matter too me. 2027 at the very earliest we see something major happen most likely 2028-2030.

Love the idea. It sounds like six flags are going too invest in more theming and immersive experiences which I’m all for so I could see bringing back the water and theming for the station/Queue but not counting on it. Love the idea of the extension after the brake shed it’s always needed something done with that just a boring straight stretch of track with major trim brakes. One could hope but also not counting on it haha

Small Spoiler alert this takes a sneak peak at the look of the indoor Queue portion. I came across this posted on Facebook tonight from the flooring company working on the indoor Queue not too much revealed in the video/picture. just gives a little more excitement knowing work is going on and things are coming along!

Not sure I’ve seen this talked about yet but with how popular this new ride seems too be and the attention it’s getting if there are no plans for additional Queue lines, the current queue line indoors is VERY small I could see this having a line that wraps around well outside the indoor portion around the park, for the majority of the season too not just opening week. Will be interesting too see how this is addressed.

Something is gonna give I agree. With these outrageously good deals for 2026 passes makes we wander about all the cuts that’s gonna happen whether it be this year or next. Being that Kings Island is one of the major parks in the chain I believe they will cut things more drastically at other parks before cutting things drastically here but it’s coming whether it it a ride removal or rides. Or slight hour cuts. other note I’m still confused on where this new haunt is going. I assume it would be tomb raider building with the evidence of work going on but what about backlot building and what about the 2026 attraction lol time will tell ….

Good evening thought I’d try too get this chat forum going again what’s everyone’s thoughts on 2026 “family thrill” is it still coming with no visible signs of anything happening around the park and typically 2026 attractions are announced in early august and we are just a few weeks away from that now. so what’s everyone’s thoughts is it still coming if so where and what crypt building, Vortex plot, Action Zone ? thanks !
