    New area idea!

Well, from what I've been told the MTV moniker crap has been dropped (notice I referred to it as only Soundwave)
  3. Alright, I'll be there (in mind and heart) PKI really likes to spoil us! It sounds like Gold Pass Speed Lane will be exactly like Disney's Fastpass, with the designated times and what not. Wish I could be there because it sound like one hell of a day!

    New area idea!

If you have been in SFGA's Golden Kingdom then you were probably just as amazed as me! With it's insane amount of theming, it could easily be mistaken with DAK's Asia section (with a little exaggeration thrown on). So, if SixFlags can come up with the money, why can't Paramount Parks? I think we should either get a new area or a re-theme of Rivertown with an asian (preferably, makes sense since Tomb Raider has an asian theme). They could also move Adventure Express into the new area and theme it up a bit more. Click here for pictures of Golden Kingdom from opening day! Note: I'm still in favor of a sci-fi section to be put in back by FOF, but with the future Soundwave re-theme almost certain now (according to some higher ups) its really looking doubtful
  5. Forget it, anything Lucas is given to Disney, just like everything Speilberg is given to Universal (doesn't matter if Paramount produced it or what ever, these guys own all the rights to their movies) I heard at one point in time after Lucas finished Star Tours he tried to convince his good buddy Speilberg to have Disney make his movies into rides because they were the only ones who could pull it off but Speilberg was so impressed with what he saw Universal doing while he was their filming his movies that he decided to partner up with them instead and he still doesn't regret it till' this day (especially after he finished Jurassic Park The Ride)
  6. ^Sorry man, I guess I got a bit carried away
  7. I wonder why PKD uses images from PKI? (refering to TRTR) Also, Dane didn't do either, he actually asked a question Sorry Dane!
  8. Exactly, at least someone knows whats going on. Now Dane, you right, I got the pic from PCW's website but it was clearly taken at PKI and thats why I posted it. The above link was to show PKIVortex the difference between PKI and PCW's IJSTs. Edit: They are directed towards PKIVortex, not you Dane, because at no point in your post did you make a statement but only a comment
  9. I really miss The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera! I was hoping PKI would pick it up and put it in the 2D side of the Action FX Theater before Hanna-Barbera was no more Well, I still think Viacom should move Nickelodeon Studios to another Paramount Park (preferably PKI). Especially since we have plenty of room with a slime maze and an unused theater
  10. Then I agree with you, it will rock
  11. Alright jackass, click here. Now, point out the tree right next to the billboard or maybe the que extending behind it! Oh, I'm sorry, you can't, because there's a freaking lake right next to it! Think before you try to rip on me
  12. ^What makes you think Andy Garfield composed for the IJST?
  13. This makes things intresting Wonder what they will do with Jimmy Neutron: Nicktoon Blast? Source: Universal-Excitement.com (very trustworthy site)
  14. PKI employees experiencing the finale of the IJST at PKI. Has anyone seen the coaster run with a full load yet? This picture is a good indication that they may start technical rehearsals soon so stay alert Can't wait to ride this sucka'!
  15. Don't wast your time watching this video, PKIC will deliver a better, higher quality video once previews officially begin here at PKI One thing that still concerns me is those rocks, please tell me thoughs aren't permanent (their just so cheap and ugly looking)
  16. ^I got a picture with Scooby and Shaggy last year and they drove around in the Mystery Machine! Also, I already said this isn't going to happen but to just have fun with the idea! (I figured since people have so much fun thinking we're going to get a 500ft launched coaster that imagining somthing like this would be easy)
  17. ^Especially since Universal just made a ride after his movie with him writing the script for the ride and working with them every step of the way as Speilberg does with his movie/rides
  18. The latest rumor from screamscape mearly speculates the idea of Universal Orlando finally letting go of Nickelodeon Studios (not gonna' happen after they just expanded with the addition of Nicktoon Blast), but lets take the idea and have a little fun with it Now lets say Viacom wants to name a Paramount Park the new location of Nickelodeon Studios. Which park would get it? Would this be a good idea? Would this go along with what the park chain has recently been trying to accomplish (movie park)? Please share your ideas, thoughts, and opinions!
  19. Nice job, right now it looks more accurate than the original video animation (kudos to all who were involved in the original though) BTW, have you been to Movie Park Germany yet? If so, how does it stack up with the former WBMovie World?
  20. Yeah, I noticed the other Paramount Parks websites have also done this too. Like always, Carowinds.com was the first I think all the Paramount Parks will do good this year and continue to be the Top Seasonal Themepark Chain in the World!
  21. Wanna take a guess as to who owns Spike TV? What you said was Universal owns Ren & Stimpy and that neither Nick nor Viacom owns them! Completely false, especialy since Nick still shows them on their Nicktoons channel. Viacom is huge my friend
  22. lol, CombatStupendous89 you're hilarious "Nick doesn't own the rights," Ha Ha, thats a good one! Nick stole the rights from John K and Spumco just so they could cancel it, I mean, Who did you think was releasing the DVDs? JFYI, Universal has a contract with Viacom for the Nicktoons (just like they do with Hanna-Barbera and they did with Ghostbusters) BTW, PKIbabe89 I loved the Angry Beavers I still remember when they had a show at the Nick Theater with them in it way back in the day (98' maybe?)!
  23. I don't understand why Universal Studios Florida has old school nick characters and we still don't. Why does Viacom hate them so much? Anyways, I have now found my new favorite restroom sign! Click HERE to see what I mean
  24. Although I haven't heard much people calling PKI "cheap," I must agree that its stupid to call them that! PKI gets an budget and works with it and IMO, does one hell of a job Their only a seasonal park so they can't earn nearly as much as I'm sure they wish they could (such as Disney and Universal). The only expansions we've been seeing lately are thoughs of already exsisting areas (i.e. Hanna-Barbera Land in 1998 and Action Zone in 1999). The next expansion we'll be seeing is the long-rumored Nickelodeon Central expansion. Although I would love to see a new area (especially a backlot-type area) at PKI, I'm afraid right now its just out of the budget but if attendance keeps up like it has been, PKI may finally receive the buget they so rightfully deserve BTW, has anyone eaten at Carowind's CBS Cafe located in Paramount Plaza? How was it? I only ask because it looks like it would fit into a backlot area area perfectly!
  25. Thanks for the pics Dane! Glad to see the decals put on the cars (they look nice now)
