I think it could happen, within the next ten years or so, as that should be enough time for prep The key is more indoor rides and gathering the proper staff that are properly equipped of winter conditions! All in due time, all in due time...

Not only is the parking lot sign designed after the actual Paramount Pictures studio entrance (old news), but the water tower located in Paramount's Action Zone is an exact replica of the actual Paramount Watertower, so there's lot's of neat little touches of Paramount placed throughout the PKI (besides the name and logo) that many don't even notice! While I don't call it Paramount's Kings Island when I'm talking to my friends, only Kings Island, I would really miss it if it left as it's really become part of the park, but like I said before, I don't think it's leaving any time soon!

I like the examples you gave BoddaH More live shows and entertainment coverage, especially some more cast interviews, would be great, but I'd really like to see some videos of PKI's live shows and entertainment Maybe some exclusive PKIC teaser trailers, with clips from the show, for each of PKI's upcoming live shows to get members (and visitors) pumped! Also, maybe after PKI's done showing one of it's live shows and has replaced it you can offer a full video of the live show (in place of the trailer as it's will no longer stop people from actually going out and seeing it for themselves)! Lot's of great PKI shows that I've never got the chance to see. Exclusive PKIC content sounds great! Maybe some deconstruction photo/videos of Nick Central/Hanna-Barbera Land and eventually construction photos/videos of Nick Universe? BTW, I'm really happy with what PKIC currently is and how it's run, and the fact that you wan't to improve on it's deserves a round of applause Keep up the good work guys!

You don't even know how many Monopoly games I've bought just because it was from a park or something I like WAY too many, most of which will never be played!

^They only showcase the films made for their ride systems to boost sales of those ride systems (so the customer knows what's avalable) but don't even create half of the films on their site, including Sponge Bob 3D! ^I'm sorry Combat, I don't know what I was thinking, it's definatly MGM! Your wrong though on who owns the rights to Sponge Bob SimEX-IWerks created the Turbo Ride system (Action FX Theater) but only helped them with the installation of Sponge Bob. Blur Studios are the ones who produced the ride film for Paramount Parks but it was Paramount Parks creative team who designed the film. Paramount Parks owns the rights to the film and all Blur Studios got was a hefty pay check!

Well it wouldn't necessarily have to go into A Paramount Story I only choose that location because it's seems kind of empty lately (with props actually being removed). It could go any where in the park as a matter of fact, just look at the Tomb Raider movie prop; it could even go into a store for display or act a photo op. On a side note, this may be a little off topic but I'm starting to think that using the rights to the original War of the Worlds is the only way we'll ever see that francise located in a Paramount Park, especially if Universal Pictures aquires Dreamworks SKG, as they've been so desperately trying to do so!

^Oh, I thought the reason Paramount Parks got exclusive rights to show James Bond 007: License to Thrill was because they made the movie using the rights that they've aquired from MGM (hence Paramount Pictures making the recent Bond films) Also, I thought it was Paramount Parks who decided to license out Sponge Bob 3D to other parks, after draining the attraction of all it's worth, to pick up a little extra cash? I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Paramount Parks owns all the rights to atleast the Sponge Bob film You may even notice the Paramount Parks logo on the poster in the link above (not that I'm using that to justify what I've said so far). While scrounging around the net for any and every bit of news on PJ's upcoming cinematic masterpeice, "King Kong," I came across something really interesting Below is a picture of the item along with a description: "the head and carcass of King Kong from the DeLaurentiis film still exist at Carolco studios in North Carolina. In short, it's a prop from Paramount Pictures' 1976 remake of King Kong just sitting around and rotting away when it should be in one of the Paramount Parks on display, being upkept I doubt this is the only Paramount prop being wasted that could be incorported into one of the Paramount Parks. Well I paid $40 for the exclusive Disney Theme Park Edition of Monopoly, but only $25 for the regular Disney Edition of Monopoly, so $30 sounds about right Also, I paid $30 for Cedar Point-opoly, so maybe their just trying to match the price of competion. From what I can see, the higher price comes with the theme park exclusivity, while the cheaper versions can all be store bought, and PKI is being very reasonably! Sorry if it seems like I'm picking on you Scoob! Anyways, I can't wait to get this but sadley I can't attend Winterfest and won't be able to pick up one this year I really wish PKI had an online store for all their merchandise like Cedar Point's marketplace. I wonder if they'll have any new Nick Universe attractions on this? I warned that the Sponge Bob attraction was not simply a retheme of the Green Slime Zone (water maze), but something much larger that would change the look of Nickelodeon Central permenatly! The old Nickelodeon Splat City look is now gone forever and I sure hope people took my advice and snapped some pictures of it and didn't just ignore it while they were out getting some of Hanna-Barbera Land. These pictures are breaking my heart but the thought of something better coming helps I'm glad to see the anitque cars again BTW, is Scrooge anything like Statler and Waldorf from the Muppets? Is he funny? Also, is Holiday Illuminations like a mini Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (Epcot)? I love that show! BTW, nice pics.

Oh man, I was really hoping he would be the one to announce Nickelodeon Universe to share the details in the exhilerating way that only he can deliver and be there on opening day This is sad to hear as he was literally the first PKI guy I've ever met! I wish him good luck at what has been voted the best water park chain in the world and I hope he brings them the delight and success that he's brought PKI. We'll miss you Jeff!

Studios) 1976 - King Kong (Paramount Pictures) 2005 - King Kong (Universal Pictures) BTW Scoob, amityboattours.com is run by SkipperNick (Universal Studios Florida JAWS Skipper), who even posts on IOACentral.com and has confirmed many time that JAWS is not closing and will open from it's current rehab on December 16th (he's even explained what details they've added to the attraction) As for Kongfrontation, I don't ever remember hearing it wasn't going to close from anyone!

How about this loophole, both of the Paramount Pictures movies are titled The War of the Worlds while the Paramount television series was just called War of the Worlds Oh boy, not only am I off topic but I'm also sounding pretty stupid right now! Can anyone answer my question or does no one know where the theme park rights to Kong stand [Warner Bros. (1933), Paramount Pictures (1976), or Universal Studios (2005)]? I know Universal Studios Florida used to have a Kong ride (Kongfrontation) that was outstanding in the theme department (I really felt I was in 1933 New York City), and it was removed in 2004 to make way for Revenge of the Mummy (I don't like it as much)! I do know that the Kong portion featured in Universal Studios Hollywood's: Studio Tour, the inspiration for the Florida attraction, still resides on the tram tour today so they must have some rights. While Universal can undoubtedly make a better Kong attraction then Paramount, I would still love to see him in PKI! As for Universal Studios Florida's Jaws ride closing, it's a RUMOR! It is not closing and will open from it's current rehab on December 16th! - amityboattours.com I just thought of something reguarding War of the Worlds, why doesn't Paramount Parks just theme there attractions after the original movie? The original is just as good, if not better then Speilberg's version, and would easily make a good theme for a ride (a 50's setting with aliens would be awsome). I may be all alone on this though as I'm sure alot of you haven't seen the orginal and PKI probably will put that into account when considering something like this (even though the two films are way too similar to worry about that though)!

Does anyone know if Universal holds exclusive theme park rights to King Kong or if it would be possible for Paramount Parks to theme a ride after the Paramount Pictures remake of King Kong (1976)? It's sort of weird how Universal had theme park rights to Kong when only Warner Bros. and Paramount actually made movies Universal didn't even start planning their Kong remake with Peter Jackson untill 1996, when it got the axe, and was later resurrected a few years back. I would really like to see Kong in PKI, even if it was a hand-me-down from Universal (doubt that would ever happen)! Who knows, maybe there's a loophole that Paramount Parks can take advantage of to get Kong in the parks I may be wasting my time but would just like to find out anyway!

Wow, not only are you also wrong but you spelt Speilberg's name wrong I'm not trying to start trouble I would just like to state that Lucas gave the rights of Indiana Jones to Disney Lucas Film holds all the rights to Indiana Jones, as they produced the movie and Lucas came up with the idea in the first place, while Speilberg was only given the privilege of directing Lucas's movie (Amblim Entertainment playing a minor role)! Lucas prefers Disney, not because of the money he receives, but because he believes that they are the only people capable of doing his movies justice. Speilberg, on the other hand, prefers Universal and would've given the rights of Indiana Jones to them, not Disney. Both friends are convinced that they are with the best in the amusement industry and have even tried to persuade the other to join their side Not only have they given their movie rights to the parks but they have even collaborated with the parks on some exclusive attractions [ExtraTERRORestrial ALIEN ENCOUNTER at Magic Kingdom came from George Lucas while Stephen Speilberg collaborated on The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man (directed the 3D movie scenes) and Islands of Adventure in it's entirety]! You are correct on War of the Worlds and where the rights to that stand though! Personally I'd love to see it in the parks, but not as a Flight of Fear retheme (it's fine as it is now, but in-car speakers and a pitch-black ride wouldn't hurt). Hopefully Speilberg has a change of heart and gives Paramount the rights for once, as this is one of the VERY few good Paramount movies to come out as of late!

Welcome to the Coaster Capital of the World my friend! Here you'll find very little theming, but PKI and GL & WWK (from what I've hear) are looking to change that, until then enjoy Ohio's 3-MEGA parks that make Ohio the third largest theme park destination in America ( beaten only by Florida and California)! Having grown up on Disney and Universal myself, I'm a huge theming buff as you can imagine I'm loving PKI's recent push for theming based attractions and they've been pleasing me way more then Cedar Fair in recent years (although WWK at GL is a step in the right direction, theming wise)! Scooby-Doo just seems bad because everyone's comparing it to the year-round Orlando parks that can dish out alot more money, we're just spoiled with them, but the requests I made about Scooby-Doo are reasonable and should be looked into! It's something that comes standard with highly themed attraction in a theme park and should no problem by now! I agree with you about the custom in-park music, having both of the IOA soundtracks and multiple WDW ones, it really helps pull the theming together and sucks you into the story (i.e. Tomb Raider, Flight of Fear, and the Wild Thornberrys River Adventure)! BTW, have you ever noticed they play the music from Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye (Disneyland) in the Adventure Express queue and station? I only wish it was a hint to the future I like the original custom made Adventure Express theme that they still play every once in awhile!

Cedar Fair has been borrowing ideas from Paramount Parks for awhile now because of the sucess they've been having, and they've been getting good results by doing so So with Cedar Fair looking to take the Paramount Parks path, I seriously doubt Paramount Parks would take the (unsucessful) Cedar Fair path of adding thrill after thrill!
