Can you identify suspect in Kings Island assault?
RailRider replied to KIfan73's topic in Kings Island
Will be interesting as to how this situation plays out. I agree strongly with the above comments. Situations like this I am not quick to jump to one side or the other and start throwing allegations around carelessly. -
The one day gate price is $51.99. The buy one day, get two is an online special. The webpage is confusing...and is going to cause problems. Thats what I mean, the pricing strategy is very confusing. I also wonder how the group pricing strategy has been changed? Just curious as to the logic behind this pricing strategy, or lack there of.

So are there no 1 day gate price tickets? Can I just pay the $26 for the one day? This pricing strategy leaves me with many questions...

Windseeker & Coney Mall Construction Continues
RailRider replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
WS along with the refurbishment Coney Mall has seen is going to bring new life to this area. Honestly this may fill the void that was lacking with no Ferris Wheel. That last picture just looks great, look how nice the pavers look along with that new giant tower at the end of the path. -
The Magic of Disneyland Through a Child's Eyes...
RailRider replied to RailRider's topic in Trip Reports
Have a great time. Also something that might help you with the crowds is the Undercover Tourist Disney App for Smart Phones. It is free and gives wait times for all the rides and show times. -
While I like the idea and think it is a great addition I am not pleased with the extra $5 admission cost. Not surprised by the additional admission cost, but not very pleased with the decision. Then again it is all about the nickles...

I am amazed there were no mentions of Rick Ashtey during this discussion...

The Magic of Disneyland Through a Child's Eyes...
RailRider replied to RailRider's topic in Trip Reports
The good news about the first week of May is crowds should be light. Spring break is over for most schools and if you hit parks on the right days it should be smooth sailing. -

The Magic of Disneyland Through a Child's Eyes...
RailRider replied to RailRider's topic in Trip Reports
Hey all... Just wanted to give this TR a small bump because the Familia RailRider is heading to The World at the end of April start of May and will be followed up with a new TR of Little Miss RR and her first time experiences at The World. Also an interesting note is that the Misses and I are running our first half/marathon in Nashville the day prior to arriving at the Coranado Springs. Thanks again all for the kind words and stay tunned... (#4000) -
Will not be permanent nor will it be on par with Disney animatronics. Think more air compressor driven shaky head movements. Cedar Fair does not maintain theming so if it were permanent could you imagine the quality of the attraction 3-5 years down the road. IJ:SC -> BL:SC, TR:TR -> Crypt...

Oh my did the most recent picture kill the overzealous speculation?
-
Looking at the new picture posted of the T-Rex, I must say the size of that thing is quite impressive. If you figure the workers are 6 foot give our take a few inches, that dino is a good 30 foot tall from the head to foot.
-
Funny how offseasson speculation takes off like wildfire. This topic has had many mentions of this being a dinosaur walkthrough and even hints of it being from the same folks that did the one at the Cincy Museum Center, yet so many want to turn a blind eye. Wishful thinking? Ignoring the obvious? Or just plain off seasson hysteria? Time to bring back the Trailer Tower folks...

Dragon Wagon, anyone? Will be interesting to see what is unearthed next...

Italics added for emphasis ^ were? I must have missed that day in natural history class?

Lots of folks grasping for bones, errr straws, at this point. Did I mention my love of the off-seasson and the uber-hyping and over-reaction that happens.
