What theming would you like to see at Kings island?
YoungStud replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in Kings Island
I don't understand how b&m fanboys can love a coaster cause their reliable. I asked single rider bob at cp once while he was riding mf over a hundred times in a day if he would do his thing on a b&m and he said no, it would be to boring. The only theme I would ljke is a racing theme like i305 and ttd. -
Would I be able to cash in my trip to kbf? Or trade for tix to magic mountai and keep the airfare.

What's wrong with congo falls? The epic fails of the last 10-15 years has been s&s Invertigos, s&s hypersonic, premier batman & robin, togo's surf racers to name a few which are all defunct.

The supes have outstanding reliability. Come to think of it the only intamin coasters in the states are mostly the most technological coasters in the world. The regular coasters with chain lifts overseas has great reliability. Its a shame intamin does not get props foe their awesome non coasters such as flat rides and water rides.

What's Up With Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular?
YoungStud replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I kind of wondered what excuse they gave Ouinet about Starlight when he came to town. There's no way he'd sign off in it.Nemo, maybe you have some insight on this... how come "stuff" seems to work longer and better at other parks in the chain? Starlight at Wonderland seems to still be working, Luminosity has been good, Stunt Track worked better at other parks... what gives? Are they budgeted differently? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 It seems our maintenance staff is lacking, -
Best Ride Crews 2013
YoungStud replied to Ride On_17's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I will work the turnstile and make sure there is enough people in the station to guarantee full trains. Instead of rows going out empty. -
The only part I would be kinda scared is when the gigantic trim grabs on the hill before the on ride photo Inertia would then kick in and go forward instead of up.On a side note why is that gigantic trim there? Granted manufactures put mounts for possible trims on rides even intamin has a couple on skyrush that are small: In the real world a train may be going a little to quick and the designer has to compensate. On skyrush you don't even know there are a couple trims on it. On DB, raging bull, etc they have these: Which abruptly slows the train and is very noticeable. Did b&m just miss the boat on the design and should have made the 20' higher? You think your going to get some air then you realize that b&m are strokers as your slamming the trim.

B&M has ran their hypers with a sack of potatoes with no lap bar and the potatoes come home. The chairs are elevated & reclined. Since there is no large pop of ejector, the supposed airtime kicks in half way down the hill and by the time that happens your upper back will rest against the back then on the pullout you will be sitting firm in the seat. I also would not ride magnum with no seatbelt or restraint in an open air train.

12 month member ship is $84.96, that includes free admission to all theme parks sans parking. 12 month gold is $153, that includes admission to all parks, free parking, Both has in park discount e-books. If your a family of at least 4 it is $75 a pass with free upgrade to gold. These are at great America. A gold pass membership @ SFA is only 98.04. Why does our plat passes cost nearly 30$ more than six flags and have less benefits?
-
A membership with 6 flaga is a great value. 180 $ for a plat pass is very expensive. Six flags meal plan seems like a great value too. I would be leary of a membership here. There may be discounts promoted but may be removed at a later date or not accepted at the establishment you wish to use it.

Skyrush, bizarro, supes clones, i305, el toro. Intamin rides built for air deliver insane ejector and not wimpy floater. You can ride a b&m hyper with no lap bar and be fine cause of no ejector. Edit: I also get insane ejector over the top hat on accelerator and storm runner.

Best Ride Crews 2013
YoungStud replied to Ride On_17's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I don't feel the nascar example either. The db crew moves slow with no excitement. What brings db crew's deficiency out is the fact of the constant stacking. Riding the other b&m hypers it is evident its a crew thing. Ki orig, you must have never been to cp. -
If Six Flags owned all Cedar Fair Parks?
YoungStud replied to Diamondbacker27's topic in Kings Island
I was more scared at dorney then sfa last. -
Personally I would not allow db to run the way it has this season. Personally I don't see how the park allows it to run this way.

If Six Flags owned all Cedar Fair Parks?
YoungStud replied to Diamondbacker27's topic in Kings Island
If six flags would have bought ki instead of geauga lake at the time ki would have gotten bigger and better coasters. People ragged on sf's customer service in the early mid 2000's. I never had a problem when visiting the major parks. If you put a cf park in dc it would have violence too. -
If Six Flags owned all Cedar Fair Parks?

While six flags had a disagreement over a lease, geauga lake closed down due to no one going to it under cf. -
Best Ride Crews 2013

So the crew can move fast for a power hour. They always speed up at closing time as well. I hope its not laziness that affects their speed the rest of the time. -

People on here think its cool to bash six flags and intamin, and a majority has never ridden an intamin coaster or been to a six flags. -
It will re-open. Intamin believes in service after the sale.
