Don't forget that building also was once home to "Cuddle Up" It was once of the least recorded rides in Kings Island History and many people forget about its existence due to its short stay at KI. And yes those are Racers brake levers.

They actually removed a portion of the "Brake Shed" brakes during the month of October, as you could see it sitting on the right side running board. Speed of The Beast really has alot to do with the temperature and the number of cycles the trains have that morning.

I recall hearing Beast operators saying "Enjoy your ride on Americas longest roller coaster, the one, the only, The Beast!"

This is the prob that's displayed in The Beast Woods not the "rat thing" Could you be more specific as to what a beast looks like? It's a bit ambiguous. The "beast" creature was actually an old werewolf prop from a maze back in the FearFest days, specifically Curse of The Crypt. That particular prop has been used as a makeshift outdoor setpiece for years now, including a campfire scene next to the Festhaus and a "duet" with the cast of Phantom Theater the one year they were in Action Theater's queue line. EDIT: Found the picture of it on KIExtreme: I remember there being two of these guys in the maze, but I don't know what happened to the other one.

My guess is 1994 when Action Theater was installed (Racing Theme) for Days of Thunder
