I thought I'd share some of my Rivertown photographs from this season and a few from the past. Any questions post away, hope you like them. I recall hearing Beast operators saying "Enjoy your ride on Americas longest roller coaster, the one, the only, The Beast!"

This is the prob that's displayed in The Beast Woods not the "rat thing" Could you be more specific as to what a beast looks like? It's a bit ambiguous. The "beast" creature was actually an old werewolf prop from a maze back in the FearFest days, specifically Curse of The Crypt. That particular prop has been used as a makeshift outdoor setpiece for years now, including a campfire scene next to the Festhaus and a "duet" with the cast of Phantom Theater the one year they were in Action Theater's queue line. EDIT: Found the picture of it on KIExtreme: I remember there being two of these guys in the maze, but I don't know what happened to the other one.

My guess is 1994 when Action Theater was installed (Racing Theme) for Days of Thunder

What year did Racer add another car? from 4 cars to 5 cars.

I'm going to guess and say, to make a less steep ramp for wheelchairs.

I like the small (new) trees better.

Its going to be nice with less trees, you'll actually be able to see across with midway. Hope they keep the classic coney lamp posts.

I'm pretty sure Vallyfair uses there water park (lazy river included) for there haunt.

My friend I just showed to says she def remembers it playing on TV.

You most likely misunderstood the ride operator.

The entire sob ques were full? Last night the line for Beast made the turn at the midway and started going toward the Icee Mix it Up stand.

The weather has been perfect for haunt these past few weekends and this weekend is looking just as good. Last Saturday had to have beat some records for amount of haunt visitors... When Beast has a line starting at Larosa's you know the park is packed.

Viking Fury, White Water Canyon, Action Theater, are closed for the season Expect to be Closed during haunt nights: Grand Carousel, Eiffel Tower, Crypt lol, Flume, Congo, Snoopy + Boo Blasters.

Settle down there Mr. Kirk, he just stated his opinion of the facility. I have to agree with Standbyme its hard to eat in there while a show is taking place due to the lighting among other things.

There was also a short lived showplace present at #44 on the 1978 map.
