  1. I read the site and see the map but what does this picture show. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/_upload/galleries/WindSeeker_photo_gallery/KI_WindSeeker03.jpg http://kiDiamondback.com/_upload/photo_gallery/renderings/render_Splashdown.jpg http://www.coaster-net.com/pics/paramountparks/ijstart1.jpg What does these pictures show? Don't always think renderings are 100% true.
  2. Don't go off blaming the employee, it's up to you to find out. The huge sign in the parking lot has park hours along with the scrolling signs just as you enter.
  3. I don't see how the capacity will be any worse then Beast. Which isn't terrible.
  4. "Greg Scheid said. This addition will be located near The Vortex's exit in the Coney Mall section of the park." Could this be the location?
  5. dontcha love bitter foods employees :P

  6. Similar music video I made back around that time.
  7. Sigh more KIC complainers....... Separating make perfect sense, its a benefit for the guest in how the opts get there partys on the same train.
  8. River Country at Fort Wilderness at Disney has been abandoned for a number of seasons.
  9. Only like a few miles... GPS will getcha there. And if your wanting to eat outside the park I highly recommend "Funcks Family Restaurant"

  11. One of the few rides I still consistently ride when I visit. It's one of the most unique attractions I've been on (and no not because of lift 2)
  12. I'm guessing parts they can reach they do check... take Vortex for example there's staircases for the loops and midcourse.
  13. With the recent news Great American Scream Machine at Great Adventure is being removed. I began thinking, as much as I hate to admit it Vortex is getting rather old and you never know when it could be removed due to age/new addition. I thought of ways to always remember this ride when if finally does leave Kings Island. At Great Adventure in there wild animal drive threw attraction, they have the top of one GASM's loops that needed to be replaced years prior. Now monkeys climb on it. Using this concept, how cool would it be if they used The Vortex top portion of the loops to create an archway over the brick path near its current boomerang? or anywhere else for that matter. Your probably thinking, get real parks wouldn't even think of doing something like this. Although Alton Towers did something similar to this idea with there former Corkscrew roller coaster, moving the corkscrews to there entrance plaza. Let me know your thought of this idea. and KI take notice!
  14. That photo is from 1997... Skyline appeared somewhere before then and the location kept the same "Lunch Basket" name switching the mystery menu to skyline.
  15. It has been called "The Lunch Basket" since 1972.
  16. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18775&st=0&p=316753&fromsearch=1entry316753 ^There is my Hersheypark PTR I though Hershey was the better more rounded park it has basically everything, where as great adventure has awesome coasters but still felt like something was lacking. Hershey is my 2nd favorite park next to Busch Gardens. SFGA'd is only like 1hr away from Atlantic City, so yeah I'd recommend staying there the boardwalk is cool to walk on and tons of stuff to do there.
  17. Can't forget about "Der Spinnen Kegggers"
