I still remember the rumor in the 80's that The Beast was being removed because it was unstable, where do these rumors come from?

Son of Beast and fof has enough g's to keep you down through the inversions not to much keeping you down on Vortex through the corkscrew except the shoulder bars, i think lap bars would be unsafe through that part of the ride

The first time I rode Drop Zone I could not get off fast enough and then burst into tears!! Since that time I have rode it almost every time we go to the park. We kind of have a love hate relationship. I am determined to like it. It doesn't scare me as much as it used to, but it's far from my favorite ride. I know what you mean? who has got to the top and wondered why they did this again?

drop zone is more intense than The Beast, I too have thought The Beast is rated high
