Okay? Phantom Theater was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! I miss it and my PKI trips are not quite the same without it. After the new version of this site comes up, look for my fictitious Phantom Theater story.
-
I miss Phantom Theater VERY much - as well as the Hanna-Barbera characters. I also miss the James Bond show at the Paramount FX Theater. And I miss GRAVEYARD SHIFT which was an awesome show. What do the rest of you miss that is no longer at PKI?
-
I think that's a brilliant idea.

I respect your view, though I disagree. We all know that PKI is first and foremost a theme park. However, WaterWorks does provide secondary income. If The Beach Water Park did not exist, would not PKI make more money? Additionally, it would be unprofessional for Jeff to say "we're out to compete with so and so." He's too much of a gentleman to make such statements. That's only my opinion anyway. Have a great day! Sincerely, Italian Chef PS - I have my MBA in marketing, so I have studied similar business case studies.

PKI, on I-71 Exits 24 & 25, owns WaterWorks, a 15-acre water park. The Beach, a 35-acre water park, located on Exit 25 is WaterWorks' closest geographical and commercial rival. How do you think PKI's new water park will influence business at The Beach Water Park? And if you don't mind, please state if you think this move is at least partially directed at gaining some of The Beach's market share. Sincerely, Italian Chef

According to The Cincinnati Enquirer, WaterWorks will cease to exist at the end of the 2003 season to facilitate park expansion. http://www.enquirer.com/midday/08/08152003...ws_mdaypki.html I don't see PKI getting out of the water park business (though that would surely be good news for The Beach Water Park and even Coney Island). My guess is that the WaterWorks will be renamed and re-themed with some additions. Italian Chef

I have that web page saved on my favorites. Quite frankly I very much miss Phantom Theater.

Hey y'all. I am very much looking forward to the new format of PKIUnlimited. I was shocked when I had my first phone conversation with Aaron (our fearless leader) and learned that he is only 16 years old. He has wisdom, manners, and professionalism that greatly exceed his age. This is the most popular UN-official PKI fan site and it is managed by a brilliant youth. And I admit, I have some greed in the next format. I wil have my own column. It'll have 2 sections: PKI-inspired fiction and PKI-inspired non-fiction. Thus far, I've submitted 2 articles about PKI non-fiction. They are comparative essays. And I submitted 1 fictitious, dramatically-written story based on PHANTOM THEATER with all of its characters. I won't make a penny off it - but worked hard on it. I can't wait to see it online and hope that you'll all enjoy it. I'm now on page 14 on an extra-terrestrial fictitious story involving PKI. When complete, it'll probably be around 24 pages. Then I'll work on a fictitious story about Adventure Express. Aaron is probably more interested about my non-fiction essays about PKI. However, I am more enthusiastic about my fiction stories because they fuse reality and fantasy. I greatly appreciate Aaron's giving me the opportunity to write for PKIUnlimited.com and can't bloody wait to see the new format. Have a great day everyone! Sincerely, Italian Chef

What if CF did wish to purchase PKI with its almost 800 acres of land and many physical structures......what does everyone think the minimum asking price would be?

What kind of restaurant would you like in 2004?
italianchef replied to italianchef's topic in KI Polls
Half Korean? I've been to half your ancestoral homeland. When I lived in Japan, I took a one-week vacation to South Korea and loved it! The food and beer are much cheaper and tastier than in Japan (if my wife reads this, she'll want to kick me a--). The prices of consumer good are much cheaper than Japan. And of course I like Korean people too. The museums, temples and palaces are gorgeous! And I loved LOTTE WORLD, which is an amusement park like PKI - except it's 100% indoors, open all year round, and has parades! I love Korean food and think that PKI would benefit from a Korean restaurant. Additionally, I wish that PKI, like Lotte World, would have more indoor attractions. This way we'd be insulated from the weather. FusionDude, I saw half your ancestry - and I have great respect for Korea. Sincerely, Italian Chef -
Amen Brother Aaron!

What kind of restaurant would you like in 2004?

I have an easy to make recipe for tiramisu. If you want me to send it to you, let me know. And I agree, a classy Italian restaurant that serves veal or chicken parmesan/piccata/marsala and has desserts like tiramisu would make PKI better. Sincerely, ItalianChef -
Sorry BoddaH. Try to focus on the having 2 female roommates aspect and forget about the dorkish actor.

First off the very first time I went to PKI for the first time in my life was with my wife and I've taken 10 Japanese visitors to the park- so I'm on topic. That said, I lived in Japan for one year after I got my MBA. I taught English conversation to adults for a company called Nova. While living in Japan my wife and I were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. We started dating.....and got married less than 2 years later. Living in Japan was an awesome, but sometimes lonely experience. I can't hardly speak or read the language - so I had a hard time when I got ill and went to the doctor. However, people were VERY nice to me. I love the Japanese architecture - especially the temples. The food was interesting. And I visited some of Japan's most awesome theme parks including Tokyo Disneyland and Ninja Mura - which is a theme park modeled after a ninja village. It has shows and rides. When I look at old pictures of Japan, I miss it because I had more friends there than I have here - and the country is so very safe. PM me anytime if you want more details about Japan. Hey folks, this year PKI introduced a great Chinese restaurant and a superb seafood restaurant. What would you like to see added for 2004?

Samuari DragonLord-san, Konnichiwa. Genki desu ka? I seriously think that PKI's marketing department should examine all the license plates in the parking lot to determine which states its guests come from. And if you ever want a Japanese wife, my wife (who you met at one of my book signing and at the park) has lots of friends in Nagoya, Japan who are still single. And if you marry any of them, you'll have to drive a Japanese car, drink Green tea, and learn how to cook Japanese staple dishes such as tonkatsu and niku jaga. And to keep on topic - PKI is related to Japan because of its Sanrio Shop. That's right folks - Hello Kitty and her friends are Japanese. And I love PKI as much as I love Godzilla movies. And BONZAI PKIUnlimited.com. Bonzai PKI! Bonzai PKI! Domo Arigato Gozaimasu, Italian Chef desu PKI BONZAI! PKI BONZAI!

I think that all the male employees at PKI should wear tuxedos and speak with English accents - like butlers. And I think that all female employees at PKI should wear French maid outfits and speak with a French accent. And all employees should wear white gloves. JUST BLOODY KIDDING! Italian Chef
-
DragonLord, Should you someday marry a patriotic Japanese woman like I did - I doubt you'll own anything but a Japanese car. And to keep on topic - I love PKI and happily drive my Japanese car to PKI. Sincerely, Italian Chef

I concur with Mr. Tanner on this one. It is extremely unlikely that Cedar Fair will purchase PKI.
-
You got it wrong. I like Anna Nicole Smith's shape because I like full-figured ladies. As far as her personality is concerned - she has the IQ of a grapefruit. Please don't mistake my fondness of full-figured ladies with intellectually challenged women. I wish that PKI had full-figured, not intellectually challenged, women in their shows. Sincerely, Italian Chef
-
To each his own. I like woman shaped like Anna Nicole Smith and wish PKI would put some of them in their live shows instead of all those underweight young ladies.
-
I leased my first car (the Saturn) because I was too poor to put a down payment at the time. I first went to PKI in that Saturn. Now I go to PKI in my Toyota. Thank God for cars and PKI. See, I'm on topic.

Adventure Express theming and story
italianchef replied to italianchef's topic in Coming Attractions
I would like to thank all of you for your ideas. Quite frankly, I can't wait until the new format begins so you all can read my Phantom Theater story. And I'm now on page 10 of a long story that places PKI's physical structures and unwilling colonists from around the globe on another planet. Once I'm done - I will write the Adventure Express story. If anyone should have more ideas......please tell me. Sincerely, Italian Chef -
I agree, PKI would benefit if a TV show were filmed at it on a regular basis. Perhpas a game show - or a sitcom. HEY - I have an idea. Beside a PKI Chef show......why not a sitcom like Threes Company filmed at PKI. It can be about 3 roommates who all work at PKI and share an apartment. I think that'd be cool. And I think those roommates should be played by me, Anna Nicole Smith (a lady who is truly my type), and Margaret Cho (who is also my type). That would make for an awesome PKI-based show.

Mrs. Chef & I leased a Saturn before we bought our Toyota. The Saturn isn't the best car in the world - but you can't beat their customer service. They work very hard to please the customer. And I love PKI. I wish there was a Toyota Day at PKI.
