Mrs. G., Since you and your family were on the show, I shall make my best efforts to watch it. Have a great day! Sincerely, Iron Chef

Yes PKI is a theme park. But it does have shows this season with the names "CMT" and "VH1" in them. Additionally, in 2001 PKI put on a show based on "Survivor" the series with its namesake. Hence, it is not impossible to imagine PKI putting on a show based on Iron Chef the series.

I can appreciate how busy you are. And I will feel even more appreciative when I can view your latest cyber creation. -
Sorry Chef, but the TR:TR segment being featured on Extreme Rides 2003 was from a different film shooting last year, not the recent one. I still do not know when the Theme Park Secrets show will air. Mars, Thanks for clearing that up. Otherwise, I would've been mighty disappointed when I wouldn't see myself on TV that night. Either way, I'll watch the show - but for different reasons. Seriously speaking, The Travel Channel has done shows on Dollywood, Hershey Park, and other parks that get fewer visitors than PKI. I think it's rotten that a whole episode devoted to PKI has yet to be produced.

Sorry, I have to disagree. Didn't you see Iron Chef USA? It was hosted by William Shatner from Star Trek. And the Japanese Iron Chef has been a smash, hit sensation in the USA. So much so, that two episodes were filmed here in the USA. The Japanese crew flew to the states to compete against American chef. Thanks to the Food Network, Iron Chef is still very popular in the USA. A PKI CHEF show, bsaed on Iron Chef, would probably bring people to PKI who otherwise wouldn't go to witness the contests and taste the culinary creations. And with David Zellner now in charge of PKI's food service, I reckon PKI CHEF would be a great show. I myself would want to be a challenger. However, I agree that Europeans would probably appreciate it more as they seem more sophisticated than us.

It'd be different from Iron Chef because we would've have celebrities and state of the art kitchens. We'd have ordinary professional and amateur cooks and limited cooking equipment for two people, and it'd be a lot less fancy than Iron Chef. Perhpaps 2 instead of 5 dishes and 25 minutes instead of 1 hour. But it'd be a live show - and a real competition. I think that it would be exciting. Italian Chef

If you ever saw Iron Chef, you'd be familiar with the format. There are 4 Iron Chefs: Iron Chef Japanese, Iron Chef Chinese, Iron Chef French, and Iron Chef Italian. Each week a celebrity chef would challenge one of the 4 Iron Chefs. The Chairman would reveal a secret theme ingredient and the 2 chefs would battle. Four celebrities would judge the dishes and choose a winner. What if PKI did the same thing but called the show "PKI CHEF"? How about PKI Chef Chinese for Mandarin Cuisine, PKI Chef Italian for LaRosa's, PKI Chef American for Wings Diner, and PKI Cajun for Bubba Gump Shrimp Shack? The contest could be held at The International Street Theater. Three or four park guests can be selected as the judges. Another park guest, with minimal credentials, could be the challenging chef. And a PKI actor can play the chairman who reveals the "secret theme ingredient". I think it'd be cool. It'd allow the guests to take part in an interactive show with PKI employees - and get free food. Just a thought. What do y'all think? Italian Chef

Forgive me for saying so, but I can't wait to see the new format. It'll feature a game, stories, and more. Italian Chef -
I hope you're right. I can't wait to see myself on TV. That'll be cool. I did the TR:TR, though I would've preferred Delirium.

First off, if you want to see every show and ride every ride and attraction at Paramount's Kings Island and WaterWorks (its water park) it'll take 3 days. Second, here's a big tip for you. Log on to www.ohio4fun.org or call 800-791-4FUN. That is the web site of the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau. There's plenty to do in Warren County besides PKI - which is the best thing there. Sincerely, Italian Chef

Might it not be premature to endorse or distance oneself from game? Perhaps that should wait until after the game premiers. Just a thought anyway.

I don't smoke and suffer allergic reactions to it. So, I think that smoking should be banned from the lines and other areas as well. In my opinion, the park policy toward beer is a good one. They allow people only to drink in designated areas. Alcohol drinking is NOT and should NOT be allowed on line - but I don't believe in denying adults the right to have 1 or 2 alcoholic beverages at a theme park. If the adult(s) act roudy - regardless of whether they drink or not - then those adults ought to be invited to leave the park. That's my opinion anyway.

As some of you may know, the new version of PKIUnlimited will soon premier and I will have a column on it. I wrote a fictitious story based on Phantom Theater which will be available with the new site. I am now thinking about writing a fictitous story based on Adventure Express and its theming. The Tiki men and masks look Polynesian to me, the recording sounds English, and the music is from Raiders of The Lost Ark. If anyone has any ideas for my story - I would greatly appreciate them. And I hope that you will all enjoy my Phantom Theater story. It is probably different from what most of you would expect. Have a great day, Italian Chef

He said you "may" be able to get free parking. If they did do that you'd think it would be for the rest of the season. I really dont know anything other than this is a great offer considering you get almost a half a season included in your 2004 pass. I called PKI to confirm this but they still dont have the prices yet.... so I guess if you want any more info you should call after August 4th. Thanks again Andy! -Nate It seems to me that every year PKI offers free parking to renewing pass holders if they purchase by a certain date. I doubt that this year will be any different.

Regardless of the cause and place of death, my condolences go out to that poor's lady's family and friends.

Where are these new maps?

I wish that I could've experienced WinterFest. The Beach Water Park has something similar - so maybe PKI will not be interested in competing with them. Time will tell. If there were a "Winterfest" returned, FoF, SpongeBob Square Pants in 3D, the Eiffel Tower, Scooby Doo & the Haunted Mansion, and Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad would be the only rides that could operate. If you think about bad weather, one can hope that PKI will get more indoor rides in the future.

The Karaoke show was held from April 12th to May 25th. I reckon it'll return in some form nexy year - as it seems to be a perennial attraction. Italian Chef

I wish that I could've gone to the Weird Al concert, but Mrs. Chef was very interested in the Blue Man Group concert which was held on the same night. So, I chose to be a good husband. It sounds like the Weird Al Concert was more fun.

Thank you Aaron. With kind words like that, I have much to live up to. Have a great day! Italian Chef -
High School teenage kids can flip burgers and deep-fry chicken or shrimp. However, a fancy sit down restaurant would require a full-time trained chef - who would demand a competitive salary. That may have been a reason as well.

Welcome Back Mrs. G, It's been quite a while since we've had the honor of reading your posts. Your insight was truly missed. Thanks for the information about the Weird Al concert. I was planning to go - but I already bought tickets to the Blue Man Group concert for Mrs. Chef & I. Again, it's great to read one of your posts again. FYI - Next week Aaron is planning to unleash a WHOLE NEW version of pkiunlimited that'll include factual articles and fiction from an awesome author, a PC game, and much more. Have a great day! Sincerely, Italian Chef
