Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to TheKlockster's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Then how does SFKK and GL have them? It makes no sense. -
Yeah, it got hit by lightning AGAIN... Surge protector please.

PKI Three Point Shootout

That's because Six Flags is really really dumb...

Uhh. Max capacity is 60,000. 49,000 IS A LOT, and when the park has that many or more, it's VERY unpleasant.

Injured Son of Beast Rider Files Suit

That's ridiculous. The highest person they could find negligent for that would be the maintenance manager. -

File a complaint? It's not the park's fault. Power outages happen. Breakdowns happen.

July 24 did they have a power failure?
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to just for fun's topic in Kings Island
They had a power failure yesterday the 24th during the afternoon. Some rides were down for a short time. -
Top Gun doesn't have a helix.

IT IS NOT THE TRUTH YET. NOTHING a phone rep says prior to any official announcements is worth two craps. It's no different than getting info from a seasonal.
-
A PR rep would not say that over the phone until after an official announcement was made...

More on How Cedar Fair Does Things
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
Uhh, Cedar Point keeps winning awards for their shows, and Cedar Fair is a much better company than Paramount Parks EVER was, at least after 1999. Oh, and most shows are lip synched. School of Rock and Tuned In are the two shows I can think of that DON'T use lipsynching. -
07? Does it really take that long to build a game?

Are we forgetting that some of TRTR's props, including the monkey room stuff and the big brahma, are the property of Paramount Pictures, and basically on loan by the park? It's gonna need major work, even if they keep the licence, because they'll have to return the props this offseason.

Son of Beast Article in Cincinnati Enquirer
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to CoastersRZ's topic in Kings Island
Agriculture, not Architecture -
Yeah but how would they send the refunds? Last I checked, they don't take down a name and address if you paid with cash at the park.
