Was too the point wasn't it? And yes as life and tech progresses it should be an available feature at the park. After some quick research there evidently is not going to be wifi in the near future. I would love to have wifi access in the park i would bring my ipad to work from. Pagoda Gift Shop, it is not all about going to ride rides. I love the atmosphere of KI and go to the park many many times through out the year.

Whats the person doing in pic number 8? Looks like they are rubbing the bushes for good luck.

Not sure but a good thing to do is bring a baby sitter. Let that person take care of them for the day while you and your hubby go about your fun.

Oh trust me. I think the ride is done, and I don't consider myself a complainer or praiser, I'm neutral. But there are those who take it too far and have proved themselves to be nothing but immature in the (at times) ridiculous photoshop postings and ranting about bonfires ignoring the fact they would burst into flames right alongside their beloved SOB. That's rational? Terpy and Shaggy are the best role models in this entire thread... (I only said them cause their posts are/were so mature I actually remembered them due to the fact they made me think). I much rather learn something or hear actual news, not read rubbish. (There have been some very intelligent posts, some even from someone that doesn't like SOB, but yeah I gave my reason why I had to use them as examples) I agree with you 100%. Hugs to you!

Yes those are so awesome. I never have seen any of those. I have tons of items from back in the day I will have to take pics of and post. It is funny how such simple things from our pasts can mean so much and the kicker is back then those same items wasn't anything. KI for me working there for all those years has shown me that in many facets of life there is learning experiences. Back in the early 80's my twin and I worked in rides and made some of the best friends I still have today. Maybe thats why I have so many fond memories of simpler times. I still see some of my bosses from back in the 80's such as Don Miller and his wife. Those days of the 80's were life altering and I wouldn't trade them for the world!!!

Hell the way the economy is today it would be a blessing to have that paycheck. I actually have a check from back then that i never cashed. It was around $90.00. Would it be worth $900.00 today? hahaha hehehe

It's no longer "Bubba Gumps." It's now called Outer Hanks. I believe the food is the same, even in the back bar area. TY, for your reply. I was meaning to mention the back area. When the park is crowded I love to sit back there. I eat sip a cold frosty beer and people watch... I love that bar ( I don't drink ) but I do LOVE their fries with pulled pork on top. Yummy! *sigh* I miss it so bad, I bought fries and pulled pork last night. Gonna make it sometime this week as a snack I am not much of a drinker either, however I do like to have one on a hot day. But this year your first fries with pork are on me!!!! ....... They used to have the loaded fries with everything on them i so hope they still do. OK now I am extremely hungry, Thanks PCC//// lol Hahahah woohoo! Yeah, they have loaded fries as well. I was getting ready to ride Invertigo, so I figured loaded fries would be a terrible idea Yes loaded fries might have been a tad too much...hahahaha.....

Last year I never got to visit the park except once with a busy life. This year I will make many trips to the park. I so miss the steaming asphalt on a hot summers day. The attractions (shows), rides and even the over priced food. Is Bubba Gumps still around? Do they still serve the tasty hot Wings? Wow, so many questions about the upcoming park in 2010. So I say in retrospec, "BRING IT ON IN 2010" !!!!!!!!!
