If you are a season pass holder and live with a 50 mile radius of the park then it is a good value even with the prices of gas going up. As for the break down of head count of park guests I am sure they wouldn't give out such info even if they have it however you can find out the park population for the day. I still think this year will be a good year for the park attendance wise.

Yes I will...... I mentioned here once I would like to know the break down of vistors in general on any given day of attendance of who is considered local and guests who drive a great distance to get to the park.

Also if you live close to the park and do have a season pass and would not utilize it cause of the gas prices is crazy. If you plan you dont need to spend money in the park. Take a cooler with you and leave it in the car. As I have said I am lucky enough to live very close to the park so my attending wont really affect my gas usage.

On channel 12 a few minutes ago they showed a station where it was $5.39 a gallon. Not sure where it was at.

Has nothing to do with my situation and I do feel the crunch. And I get it just fine Interp! It's like politics not everyone is gonna agree. And for those who live close by and do have a season pass it crazy if they make it a one time trip.

I still disagree to a point. Sure the attendance might drop some but just because prices of gas go up people still live life and do things. Just because it would cost maybe another 10 bucks to fill my gas tank does not mean I will let it stiffel my fun or kids fun planned for the summer. I am thankful I live close to the park and do have a pass. However I think if people let a few bucks ruin their vacations is horrible.

Hey, you can sit by the entrance....lol However with the prices of food and drink at the park I guess over the years I adopted that good ole philosophy of "It is what it is". I hate paying those prices but not a whole lot I can do about it to change the parks mind on pricing things. Wonder what the price hike will look like this year?! I spend a lot of money at the park every time I go, guess its time to start going outside the park for lunch and dinner at this point.

It only ran both sides forward for ten years! One has been running backwards for the last 25 years! Why change it back? Why don't they just put the dumb OTS restraints back on FoF with Cedar Fair's Logic, or better yet tear out every ride that has been added since 1972, so that KI is what it was when it first opened!?! This is not a change for turning the ride back into it's classic form. No, it's a way for Cedar Fair to be cheap, and only run one side during the week. If CF couldn't even handle the debt that they've gotten from buying the PPs then why did they do it? Now the park guests will have to suffer because CF bit off more than they could chew. Wow dont be so bitter, if you dont like the park then dont go moreless. And suffer cause they turned the train around the way it was meant to be. Ya know if you owned the park you could ***** about it.

They might have to implement that if they pass a law where you have to be 18 to operate a ride.

I can see all that land across from KI being sold off in another 20 years and retail heaven put in.

I am sure they will however even with crappy shows they are still shows, better than walking by empty stages with tumble weed rolling across them.
