The best time to visit Paramount Kings Island is April, May, June, Sept., and October. If you're a season pass holder Tuesdays are Double Ride Days. Usually weekdays are less busy. Avoid July and August if at all possible. They are most busy these months because it's hot and most people vacation in these months. The advantage is you can use the water park also if it's hot.

Cedar Fair has bought the Paramount rights and theming and Nickelodeon theming. It's on Cedar Fair.com web site. I feel they should keep things the way they are so people will continue to go to the parks. I like the variety between parks, theming, and I don't want to see the Paramount parks changed around because Cedar Fair owns them now. They changed around Geauga Lake too much when they bought it and people stopped going to the park. The survey is biased. If you pick Paramount it doesn't show how many people voted and what the results are. The survey needs to be redone.

Cedar Fair CANCELLED GEAUGA LAKE'S HALOWEEN EVENT BECAUSE OF LOW ATTENDANCE AT THE PARK. THE PARK IS VERY GOOD BUT IT'S NOT ADVERTISED ENOUGH AND PEOPLE ARE UPSET BECAUSE THEY GOT RID OF THE ANIMALS. OLDER PEOPLE DON'T LIKE WATER SLIDES/ROLLER COASTERS. THEY WERE USED TO THE ANIMALS BEING AT THE PARKS AND SOME WILL NOT GO BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ENOUGH SHOWS FOR THE ADULTS.

I WOULD REALLY BE UPSET IF Cedar Fair DISMANTLED SOB BECAUSE IT'S MY #2 WOODEN COASTER IN THE USA. I HOPE THEY REOPEN IT BY THE END OF THE YEAR. IF THEY TAKE OUT SOB THEY SHOULD REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER RECORD BREAKING WOODIE WITH A LOOP AND TUNNELS AND ALSO PUT IN MORE COMFORTABLE SEATS. i HOPE THE PEOPLE THAT WERE INJURED ARE RECOVERING OK. I KNOW THAT PKI IS A SAFE PARK AND I WILL GO BACK TO THE PARK BUT I WOULD MISS SOB IF IT WERE GONE AND THERE WASN'T A WOODIE WITH A LOOP IN THE USA TO RIDE. THIS IS A MASTERPIECE/WORK OF ART. I'M GLAD I GOT TO RIDE IT 15 TIMES THE WEEKEND OF THE 4TH OF JULY. I HOPE IT RUNS AGAIN BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON.

I have been to Dorney Park several times. I have ridden the Laser, it`s a unique coaster. Not too many of these coasters are left in the U.S.A. Millenium Force is my favorite giga coaster in the USA. I`ll try Face Off again in the fall. Maybe I was just too hot or dehydrated, but I grayed out on it from pulling too many g forces.

Why does a coaster have to be removed to put a new one in? If any were removed I would opt for Face Off the last 2x I rode it I blacked out and I won't ride it again.

Hercules at Dorney Park was a great coaster in my opinion. They took it out to put in a steel coaster. I feel this was a dumb move on their part. TTD at Cedar Point had some problems in the beginning of opening year but now they have worked out the problems and it's running great.

I'm in a wait and see mode. Cedar Fair has purchased the Paramount rights, bought Nickelodeon theming, and is a very good company. I don't like that they are becoming a monopoly in the USA because they control the market now. My biggest fears is they will get rid of perks at PKI like free parking, WOW/Speed Pass, Reserved Parking, BAFFD, and Fear Fest, and Winterfest. I also fear that the market will get stagnant and they will not add new rides to the parks like Paramount does every year. I also fear they will charge extra for the water park.

I think SOB will be around for years to come if they fix the problem they have now with it. I don't think Cedar Fair wants to tear down a coaster that costs millions of dollars to build. Cedar Fair doesn't usually have problems with their rides or tear down coasters.

I'll be the first one in line. I love the SOB. I rode it 15 times the weekend of the 4th of July and I loved every ride. I also rode it at night it's a beautiful coaster at night with the lights on it all you see is lumber. I hope it opens again soon.

I think most people ride The Beast because it's a great coaster. It has broken alot of records and it's alot of fun especially at night. I like The Beast best out of all the wooden coasters I have rode in the USA because of tunnels, helixes, smoothness, speed, and layout. I hope this coaster is never torn down. Long live The Beast!

I hope they don't take down SOB it's a great coaster and one of my favorite wooden coasters in the USA. It's broken alot of records and has made PKI famous. It's a wooden coaster and most wooden coasters give a little rougher ride depending on where you sit in the car. My only complaint about the coaster is the lap restraint. I wish they would do something with the restraint because alot of people can't ride it. I rode it the weekend of the 4th of July and it ran great. I sat in the 2nd car and I didn't sit all the way back in the seat. I didn't hurt my back and I rode it about 15 times over the course of the weekend. It's a beautiful coaster and a great way to end the night. Please let SOB run again!

Has Winterfest been cancelled for this year? I no longer see it on the web site. They were selling tickets in June and now they are not. Didn't it work out good for them last year? Is it gone for good? I feel this was a good attraction and a good way of getting into the holiday spirit. I hate to see it go. I hope they bring it back in the future.
