Agree with the first part! But the ride was not that bad!! Parts of the ride( Rose bowl) are. The drop was sweet! I think the ride it's self would be alot better with new cars like the Timberliners!! Just saying lol I can understand numerous guests coming to Cedar Point and being sad pandas because TTD is closed, but I imagine the only ones who care about SOB are the few who complain to guest services all year and infrequently post vague knowledge on these sites. That would be me. I'm devestated when that ride is down!

My wife and I will be attending this event. Last year's was awesome, and this one looks to be even better. Mabye next year, it will be a steel cage match..lol!!

Does anyone know of any wooden coaster that uses LIM's to help speed the ride up? How about other records that are out there that haven't been broken yet? Any Idea's???

Gosh, I love going done memory lane. I still remember like it was yesterday, when I was watching the unveiling of The Outer Limits Flight of Fear. The Presentation was funny, and I'll always remember it!

Interesting Terpy. I have always loved to see CP every year with the flowers they plant. Great for pictures as well.

All other coasters that are part of ERT will BE OPEN, but Diamondback WILL NOT be a part of the ERT even though it says it on the website. 9am-10am will be opening ceremonies for the new ride and then Auction riders will be allowed to ride first and then the public will follow.

From what I'm hearing at Guest Relations, Diamondback will not be part of Opening Day ERT. Only the other coasters will be allowed access.

I plan on being with the other 31 people for the first ride on Diamondback.

I agree. A coaster like MF would be fantastic. It's about time that Paramount got out of the coaster buisness and let someone else show them how to build coasters the right way.
