  1. At CP we are Screamsters not scare-actors. I know the op/ Screamster you talk of, and she is funny. Your video shows someting I'm used to, Dragster launches on the third yellow not green. I resent the fact you called Bayou better then Terror Island.
  2. Mean Streak did not have trim brakes on the first drop initially. One was added later, then a second came along.
  3. At CP a guy was trying to impress his friends said "The reason Iron Dragon is closed, is because a car flew off into the lagoon." This was said in a place in which both train 1 and 2 were visible.
  4. http://www.sanduskyregister.com/sandusky/news/2011/oct/11/belaboring-point-45-days-385-rides An interesting piece from the Register.
  5. Cedar Point has a system, for $75 one gets front of the line for Erie Estates, Club Blood, Toy Factory, Eternity Infirmary, Cornstalkers, and Blood on the Bayou*. *First access, as Bayou is a free flowing attraction.
  6. ^and then there is CP, where there is no difference.
  7. http://www.cityofbinghamton.com/history.asp Food for thought on that question Terpy.
  8. Mean Streak's last day was September 18th. It is in phase two of it's re-tracking. I wonder why it took a month for screamscape to get the news.
  9. My poor "denizens of the theater" are longing to return home. They don't like the outdoors.
  10. Morgan built the original ride system in 1992, Sally has done the re-themes.
  11. A few additions to the list. -Put the cell phone away, too many guest character run ins due to people trying to text. -Keep moving foward, heading backwards or waiting can interfere with an actors bit. -No open beverages, or your 4.00 drink maynot end up inside you -Give the actor the right of way if they are walking against the current, It's there house and by not letting by can mess up the show for people behind you -Most importantly NO SMOKING OR LIGHTERS, see Great Adventure's tragedy for more information.
  12. Is Graveyard shift similar or different compared to the same named show of the Viacom era.
  13. ^Up north, they put two people per seat and load like such 1, 16, 2, 17, 3, 18...
  14. ^Why? Then there are crazy people like me who ride in shorts, regardless of temperatures.
  15. this is sad news, IMO Spiders are greater than its cousin models.
  16. CP early entry official list: Millennium Force, Maverick, Raptor, Iron Dragon, WindSeeker, Planet Snoopy, Ocean Motion, Main Midway Carousel Unofficial: Top Thrill Dragster (if it wakes up).
  17. http://espn.go.com/espn/page2/story/_/id/7023615/tmq-says-history-being-made-detroit-lions-buffalo-bills-rise Scroll down, it's near the bottom. Picture caption is hilarious.
  18. http://www.amusementtoday.com/ The man responsible for millions of smiles and tears of joy. Many enjoy his creations yet fail to know his name. A true pioneer and visionary who helped revolutionized the coaster world and amusement business. Without him we may have never met a mine ride or a corkscrew or a suspended or even a hyper coaster. His creations will live on for now, large steel monuments more impressive then any statue could ever be. Sure his rides may bang our heads and bruise our thighs, they may even be a little rough and bumpy but we ride again for the thrill out lives the pain. Ron's biggest achievement? the fact he did most his work on paper as computer designs were non existent. Long before Intamin, Vekoma, Boliger & Mabillard we had Arrow with Ron Toomer who started many enthusiast love of coasters, including me. In closing he will be missed but remembered fondly, particularly when we mention 5-1. In tribute I will ride Iron Dragon first on Friday instead of Millie.
  19. The haunts generally stay open in inclement weather, it takes some very nasty stuff to close down the outdoor zones. Indoor stays open though.
  20. All CP haunted attractions are open on Sundays starting Oct 9th.
  21. That casket seems to have a little Funtime to it.
  22. Gold as always was off on Saturday, with all other trains on track.
