  1. Terpy, if you want a taste of Euclid Beach, Weber's is your destination. http://weberscustard.com/index.html However if you want Strawberry, then head out to Sandy's. http://www.cleveland.com/goingout/index.ssf/2010/06/more_old-fashioned_summer_fun.html
  2. Q today has taken out a full page ad in The Plain Dealer telling stock holders to split the chairman and CEO positions. It even included one of Terpy's favorite Kinzel quotes, "That he is an operations guy, not a finance guy."
  3. From the facebook link above. It will be interesting to see if the other 11 things are as exciting.
  4. Big Dipper purchase may have hit snag http://www.auroraadvocate.com/news/article/4943769 Things are getting interesting in Aurora.
  5. From the Space Spiral spiel, "Hello, and welcome to Space Spiral. You are about to take a journey 285 ft up the spiral, the tower it self is 330 ft tall with a foundation going 30 ft below ground level. ..."
  6. http://www.sanduskyregister.com/2010/dec/02/footballmoneyjs120310xml I wonder if this will cause any Q's.
  7. According to KDfansite.com, our sister park will be getting a Starlight experience. No surprise since they got I-305 this year. http://www.kdfansite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1710 For those keeping score, KD is the 6th CF park to get Starlight following CP in 2009; Knotts, KI and WoF in 2010 and Carowinds in 2011. Great America is the only dry park in the chain not to announce an addition for next year.
  8. http://morningjournal.com/articles/2010/11/20/news/business/mj3704845.txt?viewmode=default CF recommends share holders to vote against any changes Q wants. We wouldn't want to disrupt the country club atmosphere now would we?
  9. TTD is not an early entry ride. However, CP gives you free roam of the park during early entry so you can line up for any ride right away.
  10. Busch Gardens begs to differ! Even CP has some odd shops along Frontier Trail (not the extent it used to be however).
  11. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/public/news/form/giant%20stocking%20giveaway.cfm KI has your dream stocking, including a VIP tour for eight!
  12. http://toledoblade.com/article/20101119/BUSINESS03/101119496 CF says it is on.
  13. http://www.sanduskyregister.com/2010/nov/10/sandusky-fire-dept-responding-fire-cedar-point This is getting worrisome.
  14. You will have a good time Terpy, I went last year and enjoyed myself immensely. The food, shows, and shopping were all at the Busch Gardens standard. When I went, it got so crowded they opened up San Marco to levitate the crowds.
  15. Do you mean the one that was restored by the previous owner, only for it to mysteriously stop working when CF bought it?
  16. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=257485&id=91085023598 It might not be Winterfest, but Carowinds is getting into the holiday spirit. KI should bring back the Eiffel Tower Tree.
  17. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,,,,,, So what's so different between our Lazy River & the one at Cedar Point? They use theirs for CornStalkers. CP's Cornstalkers takes place in Thunder Canyon, not the lazy river.
  18. http://www.facebook.com/cedarpoint#!/cedarpoint?v=wall The carousel wont be so lonely this year.
  19. Not only is it the heavy cabins, when in full operation (38 cabins) CP's Skyride dispatches and thus arrives every 9.5 seconds! However when things go smoothly, the crew gets in to the groove and move in rhythm with the machine.
  20. http://www.facebook.com/cedarpoint#!/cedarpoint?v=wall There will be one for CP's, it should be very similar to KI construction.
  21. Dedicated to Safety? Can they explain the safety behind disbanding the SFGAd FD.
  22. The Train, not as hard as the CP&LE but still harder then any other ride. DISCLAIMER: this is from an observational stand point, I have never worked in Ride Operations.
