  1. I wouldn't hold your breath. While everything you mentioned is accurate, the glaring difference in the two scenarios are the safety issues SoB had. But somebody died on The Bat and Son of Beast? Right? Right? Sigh.

    My bad...
  3. Yes. I'm sure someone does, right?

I'd love to see a off season bathroom rehab tour.
  5. I drove by again today and there were two of them. Just moving dirt around. Maybe they're just bored. Probably nothing.
  6. I'm just confused about the lack off common sense regarding the purchase of multiple prototypes. It's been said here many times that prototypes do have issues. Yes, perfectly okay, but I'd say the incident which occurred in California is an issue. A big one. Now multiply that by the number of WindSeekers installed and you get....? A really "nice" investment. I can't say my knowledge on the topic is anything grand, but this seemed like a not-so-good idea from the get go. Am I missing something? At least they're not catching fire like the Dino did...
  7. You know, now that I think about it, it might have just been a moose.
  8. I saw a small Bobcat playing around near Lake Como the other day... Probably nothing, but I figured I'd stir up a little trouble.
  9. What are all these footers? I see no footers. Now footings on the other hand...
  10. Can't say I've ever had the pleasure of visiting.
  11. I really don't think it's going to happen. Remember the picture of SOB in relation to the Eiffel Tower? That land is not path friendly.Granted, anything could happen, but that idea needs to just go away for a while. There are other issues to be dealt with. See: Large pile O' wood.
  12. Am I the only one who couldn't care less about getting a Giga? Even a coaster for that matter. The big bad coaster war is over, friends. Here's to a new dark ride in 2014! Wishful thinking...
  13. Glad you had a good time and thanks for sharing! I look forward to the pictures.
  14. Wow. And again: Wow. Great video. Never thought I'd see that!
  15. As a fan of the band and the movie, I can say I'm jealous.
  16. Like the movie with Val Kilmer?
  17. I had the pleasure of taking a tour of the sign shop years ago during the first KIC day. It was pretty cool. In glad the keep some of that stuff around.
  18. I picked my copy up at the park. I'm sure they still carry it.
  19. Who keeps playing Dr. Frankenstein with these old threads? Haha.
  20. Does anyone else find it odd that they announced the rides closure before announcing what would replace it? I kind of figured that they would have something in mind for the area...
  21. It's over. It's actually over. Live your lives people, yes!
  22. Anything from the Tom Waits album "Rain Dogs."
  23. Very cool. Thank you. I heard a while back there was talk of a sort of sports complex/park idea proposed for the area, but I guess it never happened.
  24. I recently had the pleasure of checking out some picture of the old Ludlow Lagoon park, (Perks of working at a library) and was wonder what occupies the space today? Is this a place I could visit? Ludlow is about a 5-10 min. drive from my house and I'd love to check it out. Thanks for any info at all.
  25. I did a search and didn't come up with anything about this, so forgive me if I missed it. I just finished watching this documentary and was curious if anyone else had seen it? I purchased from the park a few years back and have watched it many times. It was honestly a little sad at parts.Such an amazing park. Still wish it could be as it was then. Regardless, I'd check it out if you're into to the park or local history in general.
