I've been to more coaster events at Kings Island than I can count one two hands so nothing phases me, but even I am excited about this one. Details are still being thrown around, but this is going to be a very exciting experience for everyone!!

Try before CP friggin' even opens!! Not a coincidence, btw... Actually, the only things really taken into consideration were other enthusiast events. The park didn't want people to have to choose between two events that are geographically close. Other than that, there were little tidbits with internal scheduling. The dates associated with the event at Kings Island had nothing to do with Cedar Point's opening weekend.

All accredited coaster clubs will be invited to join. This will be the event of the season if you're an enthusiast.

Due to the inclement weather, some activities originally scheduled for the Offseason Blues Party on the 31st, including the Diamondback tour, may have to be altered or canceled. Please keep checking KICentral for details as they develop.

Workers for Adena attach the final piece of Diamondback, completing its circuit.

While the crane is there, and it almost looks like it's attached to the piece, it doesn't look like the piece has moved in the last hour. Nor does it look like anyone is around it. They still have plenty of time left today to get that piece in!!

As of Friday, the trains were not on site. No one was sure when they were expected. The plan is to complete it Monday or Tuesday, barring outside interferences.

I might apply to work in entertainment. Maybe as an usher or something. Simple, yet important...

When stocks are low, it's simply time to buy. The beauty of the stock market is that unless you do dumb things, the only money you can loose is the money you put into it.

Cedar Fair, does - and likely always will, show a net loss in winter months. It's true for Six Flags too.

No - people are looking for value in their entertainment. You'll see a lot more season pass and buy one, get ones sales. You'll also see a lot more people participating in things such as the Backyard BBQ.

That's actually kind of a relief.

Season pass holders aren't the demographic they'd be going after for something like this.
