  1. You'll have way more than your fair share of opportunities to ride Diamondback in 2009. Again - Gold and Platinum Pass holders get to ride before the general public on every operating day in 2009!! That is correct. Kings Island's official operating calendar can be found by clicking here. Stay tuned -- more information will be announced as it is made official.
  2. That is correct, however don't forget that Kings Island Gold and Cedar Fair Platinum pass holders will have the opportunity to ride early every public operating day in 2009!
  3. The first opportunity to ride Diamondback, Kings Island's new 230' hypercoaster, for the general public, Kings Island Gold Pass, Kings Island season pass, and Cedar Fair Platinum Pass holders will be April 18th, 2009 - Kings Island's opening day. Platinum and Gold Pass holders will have the opportunity to ride early on every public operating day. Ryan
  4. They had this last year but it was the day of the Major League Eating and Pete Rose session, so I didn't get to see much of it.
  5. EXCELLENT excellent photos! Thanks for sharing!
  6. Opening day, 1972. I'd chalk that up as being a semi-historic day in the history of Kings Island. :-)

  8. It's becoming more and more evident how dominate this thing will be over the Rivertown skyline.
  9. You'll loose years of your life to Adobe After Effects. Good work.
  10. If anyone wants confirmation of payments, PM me.
  11. Love or hate the rasslin' at SFKK but OVW, the company that does the events at the park has many of their alumni in WWE and TNA right now. So if you're into that stuff, don't dismiss it.
  12. We're going to have to find someone to raise the dead or walk on water or something because you guys are getting really bored...
  13. Yep, "getting something" is all a relative term. It's very narrow-minded to say that KI didn't get anything in 08 because no new ride was installed. Rather we had some incredible new shows and amazing special events. I don't think anyone could really argue that it was one of the best seasons to be a Kings Island-er.
  14. We'll have a list of names that have paid, but if you feel the need to bring a paypal receipt, go for it.
  15. People also thought that man would never walk on the moon.

  17. Krazy City's actually pretty fun. I liked the go karts. Half the fun hitting the brakes and nearly spinning the car out as you rip the turns while the tires are screeching. I thought the Skyscraper was fun too.
  18. It's too bad your Family Matters marathon fell through. It's hard to say what that wacky Winslow family will do next!
  19. The crew from The Beach has always been really nice to me and made very nice gestures towards KIC. They're good people there and they do the best they can given the circumstances they're dealt. Glad to see that ultimately they did their best to take care of you.
  20. Plus I think there's a time period in which your records are wiped. Can anyone confirm this?
  21. I tried sending out broadtexts to the members of the mobile club for both this and for the latest D'Back update. Both times no one received anything. I contacted the company that runs the broadtexting service and they assured me that the problem has been resolved.
  22. Inherently some who won't be able to go. If you want to sell your spot that's fine but you must inform the KIC staff of the transaction and any tickets found to be sold above face value will be invalidated.
  23. In this economy, the people who are going to Orlando and the Orlando parks will go no matter what. This $5 is basically free money.
