I'm glad this question came up. I live in Upper Michigan, and can only go to PKI once every two or three years, when we go to Cincinnati to visit relatives. I just got back from Cincy today, which also included a visit to PKI. I guess I love PKI because it was the first theme park I ever went to. Even though I know whats coming, I can never quite prepare myself for the feeling that I get when I first see International Street laid out before me. I rode my first coaster at PKI(Beastie ) And The Beast is my favorite coaster on the planet! I guess I agree with BoddaH1994, that PKI is one of the few places I can go and not have to worry about anything else.

I think that they will keep replacing wood on the structure to help preserve the ride. Maybe if they could strengthen the structure between the first drop and the second lift, they might be able to remove a trim or two We can dream can't we?!?!

Hey all! I'm new, but I've been a long time lurker(1yr) and I know how things work here. One of the things that interests me most about my favorite parks(PKI and SFGAm) is their history. I love hearing about rides that have come and gone, as well as how the park has changed over the years. I would definately love a site devoted to PKI's history!
