Thanks!

One day at any park at any point in history...
My top 4 choices, all before my time: 1) Ludlow Lagoon early 1900's 2) Riverview Park (Chicago) late 1950's early 1960's 3) Coney Island Cincinnati Mid 1940's through mid 1950's 4) I'd love to walk around old Cedar Point in the late 30's, with the knowledge of what it is today.

Beech Bend Debuts Real 'Thriller' Of A Ride

NAPHA article on the King Cobra
This month's issue of the National Amusement Park Historical Association News had an article on The King Cobra, it mentioned that the year it opened 1984 there was an accident where the back car derailed. I didn't remember hearing about this, of course I didn't ride it till several years later as I was only 7 at the time. Does anyone remember this? What were people say when this happened?

The one thing I don't like about Diamondback
I never complained about the seatbelt on The Racer, I'm simply stated that if it is necessary on The Racer (a coaster that could have no restraint and you'd probably be safe), then how is it not necessary on DB. The fact is although I don't think it is necessary on The Racer, i'm more than happy to put it on.

The one thing I don't like about Diamondback
exactly, you should always have a backup in the name of safety, one might fail, but they won't both fail at the same time. Having said all this though I think it probably it safe, it won't keep me from riding, but I won't feel as safe as I would if they had the belt.

The one thing I don't like about Diamondback
It only takes one time for a restrain to come open for you to do a 200 foot nose dive on DB

The one thing I don't like about Diamondback
I don't think air time would be affected at all, I'm not talking about a seat belt around our waist, just one on the from the top of the bar to the back or side of the car, that way should the bar malfunction and want to fly open the belt would pretty much hold it down.

Oh, I like the lap bar system, I just think as an extra precaution, a little belt from the lapbar to the back or side makes a lot of sense, you never know when it might malfunction, not likely but not impossible

Not that I don't have confidence in the lap bar, but i would feel better if there was a belt buckled to the bar in case of a malfunction. Hard for me to believe that you need seat belts on The Racer as a secondary precaution but not some kind of belt on DB, Though I would prefer a belt on the lap bar not around me.

Adventure Express repairs
I don't think anything could top MF for me, Height and speed and add to that the view of the Lake, it's tough to beat, and the fact that it was the first of it's kind, that first impression never completely leaves, however DB is AWESOME!!!

Single Riders on DB Line Rocks
I only had to wait about 25 minutes around 3:00 to ride DB, because of the Single Rider's line.

Diamondback First Thoughts and Impressions?!
Kind of surreal, kind of strange, I honestly forgot I was at Kings Island when the ride ended, I was thinking I was at Cedar Point (Just for a moment) - and I was like oh yeah, this is Kings Island, awesome. Now if there was only an East of Chicago Pizza near by

Who is your favorite Kings island owner?
I took Cedar Fair, but the only thing I'm sure of is that I put Paramount's at the bottom. I only came a hand full of times during their ownership. I hated what they did to this park. I hated the movie posters everywhere. In my opinion they practically destroyed the park, took the charm out of it and took a lot of rides I like out. I like Cedar Fair, however I don't like the fact that the only new rides we'll see is the big thrill rides, the park desperately needs some mild rides to compliment the big rides.

Starlight Experience to Brighten Cedar Point's Frontier Trail
Originally I liked the sound of this, I do wonder if it might take away from the charm of the Frontier trail though with floats and such.

diamondback opening day
Just tell her Cedar Point has a coaster nearly twice as tall, then it won't seem so big, that is until she is going up that hill!

Unofficial KIC Road Trip
Camden Park and Beach Bend are 2 places I really wanna go - went to Indiana Beach last year and it was a delightful park, a lot of rides were closed, however, which was disapointing. I managed 1 ride on the paratroopers before the closed it, cornball express was closed and there were others. The Pirates Den though would be a must ride, that is the coolest!
