  1. My new season pass for next year looks identical to 2008, this is dumb, they should at least print the year on the pass, i have to hand the attendant both passes saying i'm not sure which is this year's and witch one is next year's
  2. osha is a pain in the you know what, another example of government getting way to big, at least we don't have the etest anymore that's a minor miracle, but the government will continue to breath down anybodys neck who isn't a good ole boy person or business (You got to hide, hide, hide - The old man is down the road) John Fogerty 1984
  3. Oh, how I miss the tumblebug
  4. Today the Bees and Wasps were out of control. The Vortex was totally freaky, there must have been 30 or 40 wasps hovering over The Vortex track and as the train slowly went up the hill the wasps were hovering over all the riders heads and every time the trains slowed up there were the wasps, and bees were everywhere you walked. But it was worth the trip today, since I got to ride the Log Flume twice since they had the body drenching elephant turned off, which obviously made the ride popular as it was the longest line I stood in.
  5. A couple years ago the place was extremely uncrowded due to a Bengals game the same day and they sent us through the station 3 times without stopping, awesome! they were doing the same thing on the teddy bear. The Crazy Dazy was a small version of the Cuddle Up if I remember right it was only there the 1st time I went then it was gone. this year the admission is $12 including free soft drinks, pop corn, cotton candy and ice balls, sounds like a great deal!
  6. After years of not updating it (as of last month they still advertised the crazy dazy) they have a new site, looks nice! Stricker's Grove
  7. sounds like more of a water ride than a coaster anyway
  8. Don't know if this has been posted
  9. I don't know if this has ever been posted but Pretty Cool
  10. Coney should get a Whip, isn't there still one at Lasordsville they could get?
  11. I think they should add several flat rides in 2010, nothing fancy just some inexpensive traditional rides to bring back the traditional amusement park feel.
  12. unless you count Planet Snoopy which wasn't much, 2 years no new rides, that has got to be a first in decades, looks like the paramount parks purchase is affecting the flagship park.
  13. I've never been a fan of people walking up behind me and yelling in my ear, I find it more annoying than scarry, although I like halloween decor, but I love these kind of attractions because they make the ride lines shorter.
  14. Falloween sounds like an excellent time to go! I really despise the way KI closes in September, in my opinion the best weather month of the year. That's why I usually head up towards Cedar Point in September, but I may settle for Coney this year.

Yeah, I never cared for it much, only rode it a couple of times, but that's what I kind of figured that people didn't want to ride it after the accident. Zodiac looks super cool, I wish I had gotten a chance to ride that.
  16. I was wandering what the circumstances around it's removal was, I had always thought it was because of the death, but I noticed in KIC History that it lasted several years after that, and was replaced by nothing.
  17. I waited over 3 hours to ride MF at Cedar Point in the front seat it's second year, was absolutely worth the wait then, but having ridden it many time recently with very little wait in early entry and at night on less crowded days, it would be hard to go back and do that again, but if it was the only way to ride it I would.
  18. I was very young when they took it out, but I seem to remember really liking that ride, and I know my mom loved it.
  19. Unfortunately it isn't old enough to have Gulliver's Boat Ride on it, anyone remember where exactly this was?
  20. Yes, I've never been there, but I really want to ride the Tumblebug, I wish it were still at Kings Island, I think it's the only one left, except the one at Kennywood that are turtles instead of bugs, although the ride is the same.
  21. This is good to hear! Conneaut Lake Showing Sings Of Life
  22. After watching Ebay for a park map from 83/84 era for 2 years, I finally obtained one. Here it is for anyone else that would want to see it. Kings Island Map 1984
