NOTIFY PARK SECURITY
Maybe they have worms?? lol On another note...certain crews at certain rides are better at enforcing the no smoking, no beer, and line jumping policies than others. If someone is breaking the rules be sure to let security or the ride associates know. Granted some things may fall through the cracks, but at one ride in particular (The Beast) a commitment has been made to bounce these habits from the ride. Most associates do make a serious commitment to the guest experience!

What is the worst park you have ever been to? EVER!
Oh really? What is it that you didnt like about Cypress Gardens? The Park is absolutely visually stunning, The water ski show is superb, and they really have some nice rides with limited waits!

Knievel Prepares/Construction Update.
Woofer, At least you got streaming video! That was very cool, I was glad to see him jump the trucks successfully, it sounds like he said that he only went over 23 1/2 trucks though when he got off the bike. And he said, "These shocks suck, they are so stiff". I cant wait to hear the final distance estimate!

SF Aims To Become Content Company Like Disney
I am on the fence about all of this. Every time I think that Shapiro makes a bold, innovative and seemingly promising announcement, they company seems to fail to realize something or something odd happens to them. Like JZarley said, the company is in debt, and their credit rating is in the crapper, it will be very hard to create fun lovable characters and get a quick Return on Investment without paying through the nose. Though it definitely can be done on the cheap over time. Take the "Critter Gang" from LeSourdsville lake for instance, or Pirates of The Caribbean at Disney World...the latter for one was obviously a solid attraction before becoming one of the highest grossing film series of the last century. It can be done...but I don't see the funds they would need to propagate such an idea. I don't think the investors do either, as the stock price reflects the conscious of the investors. A great Stock analyst Dr. Bob Froehlich once told me, "The stock price will go where the earnings go"....Do the math!

Area drivers share strategies for pain at the pump.
I had just visited Coldstone Creamery next to UD to bring back some ice cream for my mother and I at our place of employment, when this lady came up to me in the parking lot and asked me if I would mind sitting down with her for an interview, which I o.bliged. It was warm outside though, and some of my ice cream melted! I had some other more valuable insights to offer during the interview, but those didn't make it into the paper! It is what it is...a loaf of bread used to cost 5 cents back in the day, A gallon of milk was like 22 cents according to my grandparents. Prices go up, everything is a business, in this free market economy of ours, cause effect relationships are the norm. The higher fuel costs may just tick off enough people to get some more efficient cars, or allow Huffy to sell more bikes...Everything feeds off something else. Things will work themselves out. The world doesn't owe me anything, If I have to pay 25 cents more a gallon on gas than what I payed a year ago, then that is what I have to do....somewhere there is a salesman for a major bike retailer getting a hefty bonus to give his kids a grand Christmas this year, better than what they had the year before. Also the man who took out a loan against everything he owned to help further the development of Hybrid technology is just now reaping some of his rewards. Everything is relative. And yes, I do realize that my example of the bike salesman is a little exaggerated, he probably needs that extra money just to afford gas...

Area drivers share strategies for pain at the pump.
Well, there in lies the problem though, lots of people cant even afford that type of car at the moment! I know I certainly cant! Nor do I want to drive a stick, I can I just don't want to.

SIX Now On Penny Stock Lists
Ha, the stimulus package, I'm using it to make up for the taxes I ended up owing not to mention how much I've had to spend on books and required equipment for school. I'm in agreement with Interpreter and Woofer, I see more people spending their money going to a destination park or vacation where their money goes towards a quality experience, what in the hell are Six Flags and Cedar Fair thinking with their outrageous food pricing and crappy quality. I love KI and have already bought my pass, I don't have to provide for anyone besides myself, but for families in Cincinnati; I just hope CF realizes there are plenty of other regional attractions they can spend hard earned money on. Three new shows and nostalgia may be appealing for a family experience, but the high prices certainly are not. The Cincinnati Zoo, while not the best price in town, certainly is quite a bit more reasonable. Yes...the zoo looks entertaining to say the least In all seriousness, I plan to go there this year-I am hoping there are wolves there. If you want wolves you need to go to Columbus. Since 1992 The Columbus Zoo has had one of the top Mexican Wolf breeding programs in all the nation with somewhere around 30 wolves being successfully birthed to the zoo! Wolves=Columbus Zoo

Dolly Celebrates Season Opening of Dollywood
I was informed just two days ago, that for my 20th birthday on the weekend of July 4th, my family will be taking a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a few days! I was so excited! I will be at Dollywood on my birthday! Just Perfect! I love the place dearly, I can not wait to sit in on a James Rogers concert again, that man is uniquely funny, and I rank his show right on par with most roller coasters! I am so excited, words can not explain!

What is the worst roller coaster you have ever been on. EVER?
I have to agree with you here, and I would also add that another one of my extremely least favorite rides is the now defunct Python at BGA. Talk about rough and tumble!
-
What is the worst roller coaster you have ever been on. EVER?
The worst Roller Coaster that I have ever been on is Cedar Creek Mine Ride at Cedar Point. That thing, isn't even really themed all that well, about the only theming is the rustic wood supports. It is very rough as well. Second is the Georgia Cyclone, but my favorite is a toss-up between Montu and Kumba at Busch Gardens.

Your reaction to the Racer news
I am excited for the change, I may actually ride Racer this year to see if she rides smooth. I personally would like to see Red, White, and Blue return in the form of a freshly painted structure. The structure currently just looks weathered and grease stained to me.

Season Pass Processing
Why does everyone come here before they go to Kings Island's Official website? Go to www.visitkingsisland.com At the bottom of the home page is an article referring to season pass sales and processing, read it, it has better answers than we can give! EDIT: I realize I was being a little crabby, I am sorry for coming off so harsh, it has been a long trying day. I have a direct link for you to the article.... http://www.visitkingsisland.com/events/eve...64&ec_id=15
